lsi624: I need the GoPro fisheye looking like i need a Panasonic DMC-TS4 jammed in my ass !
wideeyevideo: I don't think the GoPro has more clarity really, just more contrast. You could always increase contrast while editing if more is wanted. IMHO
jean freitas: very good
spidaminida: I read that, stupidly, the GoPro has horrible focus issues if you use it underwater! That's what stopped me from buying it...
1650million: Very useful, thank you
shuwukong: i see the gopro has got sharper images
v838monocetrotis: Stupid compare, Lumix its a camera no video camera. You should take both underwater, take few photos and then make another compare, then will see with is better :)
goldmond max: URGENT! WHEN I PUT MY LUMIX FILES INTO MY COMPUTER IT SAYS THE VIDEO FILE IS ONLY 30FPS??!!! I WANT 60FPS HOW DO I SET IT TO THAT??!(ITS ALREADY ON FHD - 1080i/p) PLZ REPLY!!!!
Allan Zepeda: just color correct the ts4 and its a winner, its a CCD not a CMOS like the Gopro
rmoore07: @mariusphoto Cool--thank for the info regarding the audio.
Marius Tatu: Lumix camera has a better audio (plus an extra setting - "Wind Cut), in GoPro the sound is muffled when is in the waterproof case but outside water you have the option to plug in an external microphone.
rmoore07: Thanks for the great comparison video. Which camera would you say has better audio?
Marius Tatu: In GoPro Hero 2 you can choose one of 3 fields of view
170º Wide FOV (Including 1080p) or
127º Medium FOV (In 1080p) or
90º Narrow FOV
JimS0cks: thanks for the comparison bro. the gopro looks much sharper than the lumix. is the gopro always in fisheye mode tho?
Marius Tatu: You shouldn't feel terrible, FT4 is a good camera, a still camera in the first instance, GoPro is a video camera in it's first instance. Don't forget in the Lumix you have the option to change more settings (like White Balance for example).
John Whitling: For anyone considering the TS3-4 for snorkeling or scuba a word of warning .. these cameras do not seem to like salt water. They leak from somewhere, die of course, and Panasonic will NOT warranty water damaged units. Visit Amazon and read the 1 and 2 star comments. I don't know if the salt water attacks the mic or speaker, etc but these cameras have a serious problem with salt water. Not to say that they all leak but there are many and it seems that all of them that do, leak in salt water.
tell2k: Well I can't Haha so what one wins?
Marius Tatu: The video is available for mobile, I can see it on my android phone.
tell2k: I can't see your video from my phone but what one takes it?
