t00nz843z: VSDC just released a new version update of their free editor that has implemented many requested features. It now includes the ability to SPEED-UP and SLOW-DOWN video. It now also has SCREEN RECORDING!!!
I would like the sound to fade on certain parts of my video and than come back in others.
How can I do that?
Rosa Chinchilla: How do I add fades to sound? Haven´t figured it out yet
t00nz843z: You can use the font library that comes with the program. Font adjustment is shown in the video at 1:14 BlackIrisBalloon: Can i add new fonts for the text?
t00nz843z: Please watch my video
Each text and video that goes flying by is a sprite. The sprite feature lets you incorporate multiple effects such as movement, sizing, transparency, etc... into a video text, or picture. The sprite can then be copied and pasted multiple times to repeat an effect. In the referenced video, i did one master sprite for one text and one video. I then repeated the same effect for multiple videos by copying and pasting.
cherry salvana: what the sprite for ? what are its functions?
t00nz843z: Actually the latest versions of Movie Maker (for Windows Vista and above) are all very good. Highly recommend trying them if your computer has Vista or above. One shortfall though is that video formats are somewhat limited in what WMM will recognize or save in.
Jabir Al Fatah: Ok, then How about the Windows live movie maker?
t00nz843z: Agreed, it's not very intuitive, but does get easy after you play with it a bit. For a free editor it's very good for advanced video editing such as chroma-key editing or split-screen picture-in-picture editing. But for simple merging, splitting, and cutting I would instead recommend another free editor, FileLab. Please search for FileLab Video Editor in the above YouTube search bar. I think you may be pleased with it.
Jabir Al Fatah: VSDC is very complex tool, it's not even friendly user interface..
t00nz843z: Unfortunately the newer WMM versions that have video speed-up or slow-down are only available for Vista and above.
TheYex: I use Windows XP, is there a way to get Moveo maker 7 to work on this computer? :O
t00nz843z: VSDC does not have this capability. For free software, the latest versions of Windows Movie Maker does have this option.
TheYex: How to speed up a video?
brittyxbeauty: I cant figure out how to speed up my video on here
Ms Boss Bella: yes it doesnt affect the size of the video.. i use it all the time!
Jammie Dodger: hey this is just what i been looking for if it works will update so ....just downloading :)
king preston305: hey if i wanted to add my commentary over my game play will my video still be 720 or 1080 with vscd
t00nz843z: There's a little "Add Music" icon in the left-side controls. It looks like a musical note.
t00nz843z: Yep 100% free, NO trial. And yes really HD (even 1080p and above). Not sure if your computer will lag, but mine doesn't.
MinecraftTF11: is this 100% free or its like a 30 days? free or is this really HD? and when i stall it will not lag my computer when i'm using it?
MW3Playerz97: how do i edit and add music to my video?
t00nz843z: Search for "free basic video editing with VSDC" in the YouTube search bar. Or copy and paste its video link into your browser
The above video tutorial covers that subject in detail.
Karina Sierra: Hey, how would you split a video? to shorten it?
t00nz843z: The "Add Audio" button is the next one above the "Add Video" button. It's the icon that looks like a musical note in the left side column.
Praptee Ghimire: how do add audio to a video? Please help!
t00nz843z: That is the placement grid. It only shows on the preview screen and is used to help measure the placement of your video. But it can easily be turned off.
Just above the screen notice the little red magnet buttons. Just to the left of the magnet is a little blue button. Press the little blue button once to turn off the grid.
t00nz843z: And thanks for giving me an idea for the next video tutorial.
t00nz843z: ahh cropping, good question. You use the sprite object to crop the borders of a video. Inserting a sprite object is very similar to inserting a movie. Click on the "add sprite" button in the left toolbar, and place it/resize it on the mat the same way you would a video. Next click on the sprite tab, then click on the add video to insert the video into the sprite. Resize the video using its end tabs and slide it within the sprite. The outer borders of the sprite will crop the video.
boy of destiny: how do u crop a video (borders)
YoungBrave2006: You are a wizard.
Brenner Oliveira: ok obrigado
t00nz843z: Por favor, assista o vídeo a seguir YouTube. O vídeo é um tutorial adicional de editor de vídeo VSDC. Ele mostra instruções detalhadas sobre como dividir, cortar e eliminar seções de vídeo.

t00nz843z: In the main menus select Video Effects / Transforms / Mirror.
The23Bernard23: How do you mirror the video? Please tell me. Thanks.
Ali Mohamed: thank you man you helped me alot!
t00nz843z: In addition to Zoom command, there's a Rotate command located two command above zoom. See it here at 3:31. You apply and edit it almost the exact same way as editing Zoom as shown in this video.
The sound effect was sampled from this video produced by SoundFXNow:
There are many other YouTube artists that produce and offer their sound and green-screen visual effects for free download on their websites. Really no need to produce your own.
Ali Mohamed: sorry but how can i make the text effects like you did in the first secods of the video?"the lightning sonund......" please answer
t00nz843z: To adjust font, size, and color, left-click on the text box, and then open the propertis window in the far right column. Adjust each of these properties to taste under the Text Object Settings and Brush sub menus in the Properties window. Also please click on the blogspot link above for more tips on how to use the text editing of this video editor.
Nhokshockqns: How create text with small font & size, I try but it's text is big ;;
t00nz843z: In the timeline, click on the video that you'd like to adjust. Then click on its tab directly above the timeline. This tells VSDC that you'd like to adijust this specific video. Next click on Video Effects in the top menu. Select Adjustment / Brightness/Contrast/Gamma. Set it "from cursor position" (you can adjust its slider bar later if needed). Click on the BCG slider bar in the timeline, and then open up the properties window on the right side of the screen to adjust these properties.
Rachel Briones: how can I adjust the light in my video? My video was really dark.. how can I change the brightness and contrast?
