Tomiking33: Yeah, thats good but if you want to save some money just get a 7970 ghz edition, thats the same as an r9 280x (those are just re branded cards)
bhawktech: Amd fx 6300
Mushkin 8gb ram
Shall this be decent?
mashgreatonlive: fx 8350 will be good for another 10 years.....
redsamuraidragon: my dinosaur windows xp cpu crashed early this year and Ive been without for a good while. Recently picked up this for my birthday/re-enrollment in college present.
I picked up the
MSI military grade 2 990FXA-GD80 mother board
ASUS graphics card with NVidia GEForce GT630
12 gig of 1600 ddr3 ram
3 terrabytes of hd
7 illuminated 120mm fans
cig lighter in drive bay
the works. I feel this chip is greatI I can use any program.
Especially as I stepped up from a 1.6 single core. lol
Joran Verweij: FX-8350 (Or 4670k?)
Gigabyte Radeon 7950
8GB Corsair Ballistix Sport
Only searching for a motherboard, recommendations?
CrazyOrange: ahmm, i am planing to upgrade FX 8350 for the next year
CrazyOrange: Oh Cool Thanks bro
mashgreatonlive: I think that will be GREAT for next 2-3 years..
michael carrigan: yea you'll be good with that for a few years, great choice
MrJabbaCake: Im getting a FX 8320 and a HD 7870, not bad
HalfBak3dCheeto: I'm hoping to get myself a FX 8350 and a GTX 780, 'course it'll take ahwile to save up, but it'll last awhile.
michael carrigan: nice, I'm running an FX 8320 with an HD 7770, probably thinking of picking up a gtx 760 or if I choose to splurge a little maybe a 280x
HalfBak3dCheeto: AMD FX 6300
GTX 660ti oc
TamDiabolo: remember, the cooling system + fx 6300 cost the same as an higher-end cpu alone with stock heatsink (can be replaced later)
KROOSPRODUCTIONS2012: yes its very nice! i have a fx 6300 , hd 7850, g skill 8gb ram and it rocks every game!
Tony Luciano: no it will not..
michael carrigan: what are you running? cpu and gpu wise?
CrazyOrange: Overclock my CPU? well i will do that when i have a Cooling system
HalfBak3dCheeto: I actually wish I could. It'd save me money too. :/
michael carrigan: I must be on some good drugs then, saving me money by dealing with 40 fps :D
HalfBak3dCheeto: You're on drugs too? Wow.
Seriously though, I have no clue how you can consider it fine, it makes me feel sick.
michael carrigan: 60 fps is great, but anything over 40 fps is just fine (single player wise), multiplayer is where 60 really shines
HalfBak3dCheeto: I play them at 720p actually. Don't know what drugs you're on to accept 40FPS as actually playable.
Ryan Smith: Are you freaking kidding me, the 7870 will run anything maxed without AA at 40 fps- you either play your games at an insane resolution or you're trolling or you're just plain retarded.
Ryan Smith: fx 6300 will bottleneck the R9 280x unless you overclock the crap out of it
HalfBak3dCheeto: I have almost exactly the same rig (apart from a better gpu) and it hardly runs... well... anything. Borderlands 2, Sleeping Dogs, Battlefield 3, Fallout: New Vegas etc etc none of these run on max settings at a stable framerate. So unless you want to either: Have it look like an Xbox 360 game or run at 30FPS, you should probably avoid this and just save up some more for a PC that'll actually run games. So should I.
THEBieST5: About your memory you need to say the cas laydency and the speed aka 1600 with cas 8. Get low cas laydencys to make your machhine go faster. GO TO TEK SYNDICATS FOROM. AKA TEK SYNDICATE COM. People can help you if you go there.
THEBieST5: why do you keep making computers with mushgin ram. 1 I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE and 2 I believe they stopped making it!
michael carrigan: FX 8320 or FX 8350 and your good
FreakingDuck: I would say that the GPU is too much for the processor. But it will do nicely.
MousAnony1000: If you're asking me it's perfect...
Abe Thedrummer: lol the 280x is a rebranded 7970 get whatever is cheaper
Abe Thedrummer: that sir is perfect
dreamomega: How does the 280x perform?
H4ZzM4Nn: Thats what ive got :D
CodeusaSoftware: The 7970ghz out peforms the 280x and its only 10$ more?
CrazyOrange: Why you were going to get the 270X?
CrazyOrange: but why bro?
CodeusaSoftware: Go ahead and get a 7970 they are on sell atm for about $300.
SameBasicRiff: but it can support it. and mantle is a work around anyway.
mike TIEGS: I think he asks that because the 7970 doesn't 'support' 11.2 and the r9 280x does. How would that turn out anyway? I'd love to know too.
stefco100: I'd wait and see what comes next or if anything drops in price. One good thing about pcs is that the parts market is so competitive prices drop in months , a GPU made when the Xbox 360 came out is probably not even on the market by now
ShadowOfNexxus: what the freak
crazypigs100: the topic of this utube video is, 'BUDGET GAMING RIG'
here should I crossfire two hd7770 and get a upgrade from a fx4130 to fx8350 or should i get a r9 rx280. I don;t know if i shud wait for better tech or price changes?
stefco100: remember this is a PC , which means you can use it for more than just gaming. Try photoshop or video editing on a ps4
