Linsey Hornberger: Great place to learn how to make it yourself much much cheaper. Just google for 'inplix' website:)
presterjohn71: Google is the killer. My Note 2 battery life plummeted down to a 7 hour life span after loading all Google's apps to it. I am now trying to work out the best compromise of apps and battery life.
DiRT_SHARK: Power saving mode doesn't hurt anything except for the cpu performance, which you can uncheck and leave the rest.
Hein Koch: awesome, thanks for the tips. I get 2.5 days on the phone with some wifi activity and data disabled. I keep my ower saving on all the time, most stuff works, just a bit slower, and if i need to watch movies or play a game, i take the power saving off.
SoldierT105: Yes it really does. Depending upon what you have it syncing and the sync frequency. Now if you go in settings and disable most of the features, such as check email for flights, meetings, local attractions which make your device constantly pulling data and location, it will drain battery. When I disabled Google Now, I was amazed at the battery life I gained. I'm not sure what device you are using or if it has been updated in the last couple months, but people agree Google Now is a battery hog.
kaushik ray: Dude..!! Google Now does not consume that much batter as u r saying..!! I have checked my battery usage and trust me..!! Its really efficient..I
SoldierT105: Latitude can still be on even though location services is off. Not sure if it can't impact your battery, but I make sure it's not reporting my location. Another tip is turning off the smart motions, and S voice listening for you to say "Hi Galaxy" to initialize. With these features on, your phone is constantly monitoring voice, sensors, and cameras to see if you are motioning it. Turn those off and battery life is pretty amazing.
Hayat Albaradei: :'(
Milkerz5: Thanks for your tips, I did forget about Google Now which is a good one. Latitude should have been covered by my tip to turn off location services and I did cover sync too
SoldierT105: You really missed some huge battery saving tips. First turn off Google Now. Make sure you've not signed into to update location of "Latitude" under maps. Also, turn off sync. Those three alone can double your standby time alone as they are huge resource hogs and keep your device awake.
theeachuisge: I bought gn 2 and battery lasts max. 6 hours of full usage
Milkerz5: I've only used it with light use so far, but after 2 full days it had about 20% battery left. I'd guess that even with heavy use it should last at least from early morning to late evening.
Milkerz5: Lol why are you jealous of me? And I prefer the titanium grey but had to get the white as grey was delayed
Mikula: Ouh, and did I mentioned, that I AM SO JEALOUS on you :D One more question though, did you have chances to meet with titanium gray color, witch one is better? Personaly, i thing SGS 3 is much better with that color, so any thoughts on this one? Tnx in advance :)
Mikula: Dude, if you are asking this, and you are, than this phone is not for you..
Milkerz5: You don't have to use these techniques all the time, they just help you to save power when most needed.
Mikula: I like ur video, but this is not right. I am buying phone, of such power so it can run all animations at max, and to bi able to do screen on automatic brightness with respectable time. Sincerely, you are giving me dilemma weather should I buy it, or wait.. ??
