Rickinsf: I tried to use my FR-300 as my desk-top radio and found that the tuning "drifts." Every few minutes I must fine-tune to continue hearing a station clearly. Perhaps it's just where I am, geographically, but it is an inconvenience.
DragonsREpic: no *facepalm* the battery
THREEFLOORSDOWN1: milliAmp hours
DragonsREpic: What is the mAh?
oneeyedpatriot: Thanks for the info and well done video. I will go to Amazon and check it out.
Tyler Clark: I have a FR-300 radio too, except its white. Nice camouflage texture by the way.
MsLR721: Yet another person to tell me Dynamo's are crap. hahaha... good vid. This is the 2nd good review I've seen on these. One more and I'm getting my own. Ty. Will subscribe.
plentiner: i just picked up the same model fr300? cost me 9.99 from jc. penny outlet>>awsome i bpought 5 of them!ha
THREEFLOORSDOWN1: its waterproof to an extent. but more than likely it wont work right away after submerging. !!! that would be a good test for it tho!!!? i might try it after i buy the most recent/best model that isn't analog wave/short wave. either way ....it 's still a great radio for out in the yard or anywhere you go. i use it constantly & is very efficient on energy use!!! it has been out in a couple downpours after forgeting it outside. in my opinion its well worth the money!! >eton(dot) com
2022e55: Is that radio water proof??? Can it be fully submerged in water , taken out, and still be used???
THREEFLOORSDOWN1: yeah..thats a good idea. i'm pretty sure i saw a set on sale the other day. i had some years & years ago but they got lost. they were like $60 then...i think they run around 30 now depending on how good they are
ArmyRanger10: I have a Radio like that except its hand crank and solar powered. But always have a backup.
