DerTebbers: I don't agree with that second statement. Some of these mods were done by
people that are no longer active in the community. I would say that if you
convert a mod that is okay, but you absolutely must credit the original
creator and just list your self under the "Converted to FS13 by" area.
There are some good old mods out there that aren't available to FS13
players. If someone wants to convert them they should as long as they

ntrains: Wrong, Its a 94 to 01 Dodge Ram which came with one of 3 engines
3.9,5.2,and a 5.9 which are all Fuel injected. With that said you can
convert the 5.2, and the 5.9 to a carbed engine. Its just not stock thats

the game it says that there is no place for the object even though i have

7mph, but it will not allow me to change any text what so ever, could you
bigtrucker26: my guess is that it is supposed to be a manual choke, with priming pump
carb modified truck. which would require slapping the throttle before
turning the key, and after it stalled to work the choke and primer pump.
That is likely the source of the sample audio used for start-up. Like you,
I prefer the simplicity of the turn key start of today's fuel injection,
and with the ease of adjustment of today's management, it is in most cases
a poor choice to convert back to carbs. Happy gaming.

DerTebbers: You need to use a program like Notepad++ to edit the XML file. If it is
opening in your internet browser you won't be able to edit it.

DerTebbers: I don't change any game files. If Giant adds a category for trucks then the
mod can be updated, but to edit the game itself is not something I do or
DerTebbers: I have some thoughts, but I haven't tested them. In the Dodge_Ram_1 xml
there is a value for downforce. I am theorizing that value will increase
the vehicles "weight" in the game. There are also four wheel xml nodes that
have a attribute of suspTravel, spring, and damper. Those might also be the
source. As long as you save a backup of the file you should be able to play
with the values and see what happens.

video ( I never got the mod, I'm a ford man myself), -sounds- like it is
supposed to be a modified dodge, a carb converted engine. I drove a van for
one of my prior employers with a old school mechanical choke 4 barrel on
it. You would mat it to set the choke, start the engine, when it stalled
mat it again to release the choke, and re-fire it. Also some early carbs
had pumps that worked my matting it repeatedly

DerTebbers: I don't know how the keys are mapped in the XML. What you can do is find a
mod that has a couple of keys where you want them. Check the XML and see
what is mapped in. That might tell you what a particular key's call
parameters are. Finally, you can do a search on Google for "Giants
Developer Network" and go to the Scripting Reference section. That is all
the deep dark guts of a mod.

fast speeds and if I go off road the truck jumps miles high and goes
extremely fast.i want to use this truck what do I need to change so these

to jump out and when I shut it down I have to jump out for it to do it job.

the engine sound were too high pitched. So i did that by adding some bass
to that. But. If im listening from the outside, whenever i get near, i can
hear the sound immideately, it does not fade in, as it usually does. How
can i fix this?
