XtremeGamer: My bro inlaws 2017 golf 1.4lt only 3 weeks old,he's done 3,000km and already has to put 2 litres of oil in it... is this normal for dsg engines ?

KL4K50N: Do not put this crap oil next time... Choose some better one like Motul, Liqui Moly, Millers, but NEVER use castrol... That oil was good but many many years ago.

Nathan Soper: would recamend adding a touch more oil after running the engine. the oil filter will fill with up to half a litre which isn't being measured before running the engine.

Im from Singapore and the used dealers doesn’t have the copy. And for the engine oil what are the recommended viscosity should I use for brands like MOTUL,liqui moly?
