Franklin dradmiral77: Too bad that the folks and the addicts of Apple based devices will soon
understand exactly what they are missing by insisting every device must
come from Apple company. I guess they might invent a miracast kind of
wireless display version and again insist it connects only their devices.
That's absolute 21st century stupidity. I've shown severally to apple
addicts the various limitations of their products such as this and lack of
Bluetooth compatibility with other basic devices like android, car sound
system, multimedia speakers with Bluetooth etc. All those folks tell me is
that their devices are basically virus free. Again this is stupidity. Virus
is nothing but a deliberate written program by humans. They can always
write virus for and type of computer anytime they choose to. Basically no
device is absolutely virus-free. I want a world where I can choose to have
any type of device with my choice of brand and be able to connect freely
without compatibility issues. That I believe is the technological freedom
everyone should deserve.
tykill: I'm pissed off that this doesn't even work on mac/iphone.
Thrillingist: Customer service FAIL. If someone reaches Level 2 in your customer service,
those people should have training in COMPUTERS and not tell you to contact
your computer provider (or to GOOGLE IT) for a problem with the TV
recognizing a computer. Just a thought. Glad I kept the box on this dumb
Ashlyn Benta: So WiDi can't work with an iphone?.. If I knew I would've never bought my
smart tv.. Smh
thomas thompson: Its annoying. I keep trying to connect my lg g3 to the 2013 lg smart tv
model and it connects then fails straight after. Any help?
Thrillingist: Wow. That sounds really cool. Too bad it doesn't work. And if it did , it's
a bloated program. How many functions does someone need in order to
eliminate one HDMI cord?????Why don't you simply build a desktop
application that we can launch and give the power back to my our computers,
which are clearly smarter then this very expensive TV is. My TV can't even
see my PC, but my PC can see it and no one has an answer.
