DeerHunter530: Replaced passenger side cv axle on my 2006 gmc sierra. Now it makes a noise (only in 4wd) when turning. Makes the noise when I turn right or left. Sounds kinda like a barking or rubbing tire. My service 4wd came on also. NO noise in 2wd. Replaced with Napa Auto re manufactured axle. Any Idea what could be going on?

whitestallion: I've had a 03 chevy Z71 for two years and since the day I bought it it's had a rustling noise while I'm driving. sounds like it's coming from under the cab..almost right under the front seats. I got to looking under my truck and at the transfer case and it has a tiny hole on the very top. Also, if I break to hard then take off fast if feels like some slack is being pulled out of my drive train somewhere...and everytime I put it in drive, reverse it makes a click or pop sound. Can someone help me out and tell me what it could be? I know the transfer case is obviously going bad bcuz of the hole but the click and slack can't be the T-case to can it? Thanks
