What do you think about this video?

Lorenzo Rosales: I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado and for some reason the engine fan turns on after a few seconds and doesn’t turn off until I turn the truck off. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!!

condor5635: This doesn’t make intuitive sense to me. If the engine is cool you want the fan clutch to slip and be free rolling correct? If it’s engaged like your new one that means it’ll drive air when it’s cold which isn’t the whole purpose of it correct? It should be engaged when it’s hot and not engaged when it’s cold correct? Please educate me more. Thanks for the video

TheBear: Burger king foot lettuuuuuce

El SuaveGAMING: The blades are backwards

che bertrams: wtf flex a lite that pig 280 monster way to go much more efficient clutch fan fluid solidified get rid of it

Shawn Fantry: Thanks for the short but very informative video. My trailblazer is making a strange fan noise and after this I am certain it is the fan clutch. Well done.

Zakk Gardner: I had to slog through 4 other videos before arriving here. Thank you for your concise description.

Glenn B: Always make sure your shroud is on.

Tan Chong: Very good video.

joeyf504327: Good job, you put it on backwards.

Goodjobbuster74: Hi sir, thank you so much for your help. My 02 Chevy Suburban 5.3 has a air conditioning problem. A/C only works at high RPM like driving on the freeway. Since the A/C compressor was replaced couple of years ago could this be due to a bad fan clutch? Best regards, Khan

William Earl Jarrett: This was the best informative video of a bad and good fan clutch.. Thanks my 94 crown Victoria has to be changed

dgreen114: It appears the fan blade is on backwards after the clutch was replaced. Is that possible?

Rushfan32935: based on what you demonstrated here, I think my jeep Cherokee is going to need a replacement fan clutch. It seems to always be spinning when it doesn't need to be on like when I first start the engine and when I spin the fan with the engine off, it will literally spin on its own for 10 seconds

sj lim: hi there! nice video. i have a question. i have a 2014 mitsubishi montero sport. can you please tell me what is the proper refilling of a fan clutch using silicon oil. i think my mechanic over filled it because the fan is noisy, i think the fan cant "free wheel" .. what is your suggestion.. thanks.

Dragonballzgtvegeta: Thank You!!! My Nissan Titan is making a whine noise, not sure if my fan clutch is the source of the problem but there is not much resistance as a new clutch should be. I'll be changing mine as my new clutch arrived today. That's some peace of mind anyway.

Debster: Good job! Would a fan clutch cause overheating at highway speeds? I have replaced the radiator, water pump, and thermostat and it overheats going 70 MPH on the interstate but if I turn off the motor and immediately turn it back on, the temperature drops. I was told it's probably not the fan clutch since airflow at 70 mph would be enough wind to act as the fan and tested the fan clutch with a magazine and it doesn't slow the fan. The fan clutch doesn't spin freely when I spin it but does spin about a full rotation before it stops.

Comic Book Guy: Question: would a bad fan clutch make an intermittent clicking/tapping noise? I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 4.8 with a hundred and forty seven thousand miles, the radiator is leaking and I'm going to replace it this weekend but it slowly started making an intermittent clicking tapping sound coming from the front of the engine and I have yet to identify what it is. Thanks!

Grace Kibirige: Thanks for the video.

Oscar Rodriguez: I have a trailblazer 03 and the fan and clutch have a lot of vibration especialy when the rpms goes high you think i have bad fan clutch?
