ushtemanushteunchaga: continued: I have multiple @starts to start several different programs when I start to game. Open hardware monitor, auto hotkey, etc. Good luck and be well!
ushtemanushteunchaga: rt click your desktop. go to "new". "text document."copy and paste the @ dell...... exe" (the text above). paste into the new text doc. Change the paths to = what your system is. keep the quotes (") where they are in relation to the paths. To save the file, make sure the end is ".bat" ex: wow.bat. save file in my documents. create a shortcut to the desktop so you can change the icon to be whatever you want (bat files dont have any other icons). You can have the @start section do whatever.
zXTheFoxXz: i am a "noob" on computers can u pls explain what i should do to make this batfile work
Power Word: Gold: Did you close the game, delete the file then go back into game? Also if you go to a place like a city and a hunter has a pet it can also add the mob into your cache. Always leave game, delete and come back into game in a unpopulated place like out in the world.
XxDrD34THxX: I went to get arctris reset scan came back on camped till 11 to 2::35 am and i saw him spawn and npc scan didnt go off as a night elf and dwarf flew over me almost lost him... Im tauren btw
Power Word: Gold: /cheer
XxDrD34THxX: Found it LOL
XxDrD34THxX: Cant freaking find it
Death Eater: I love you
monstavids123: thanks so much
mobbis greger: Thank you!! <3
Power Word: Gold: Sorry it's not working for you. If I can confirm it's not working I'll make an update. Thanks.
Fuzzex mega: it doesnt work for me is it probally beacuse of new expansion can you please make a new video!!!
Viktor Kilmartin: Thank you:)
Power Word: Gold: There is an option in NPCScan (type "/npcscan") and check the check box labeled "Search for completed Achievement NPCs". That will help NPC Scan overlay show Rare NPCs even if you've killed them before.
Beyond that I don't know why it isn't working. Make sure you reset as I explain in the video.
Hope that helps.
DeathKnight968: why my NPCScan and NPCScan.Overlay are not working? pls help me ;_;
ludvig magnusson: thank u!
AFlaminNiNjA: THANK YOU <3
Power Word: Gold: Clever. I like it.
ushtemanushteunchaga: I created an easy desktop bat file to do this and start wow with one click (Change your directories to reflect your system).
@del "C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS\creaturecache.wdb"
@del "C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS\npccache.wdb"
@start C:\"Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft Launcher.exe"
Joseph Fisher: Thank you.
Power Word: Gold: Make sure WoW is closed when deleting. Also there is possibility you may have 2 WoW folders. Otherwise I don't know why it might be not working. Sorry.
William Norman: what do you do if you deleted the whole file and the message still shows?
Albros Poot: Thank you a lot
Power Word: Gold: My file path is: (YourDirectoryForWoW)\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS\creaturecache.wdb
(Your folder may be enGB if you are in...England?)
creaturecache.wdb is created by WoW itself, not the NPCScan addon. It should be there even if no one has installed the addon.
Hope that helps.
NazGReL Ch: i can not find ''creaturecache'' inside Engb folder or other folder.It's not really there.Tried to delete addon and redownload but no luck.Maybe it's something wrong with my vista edidion or something? help me please
KrazzyyAnToxic: If you need help finding your WoW Catche file(WINDOWS), its easy, on your desktop, or where ever else you have your wow "shortcut" right click it, open file location and Wa-La! thats it! (:
binigo1: ty so much for the help :)
TaintedSuffering: Great video, thanks!
Power Word: Gold: "Games" is a folder I created myself. You probably don't have it. You might look in C:/Users/YourUserName/Public or C:/. There is really no way for me to tell where your World of Warcraft folder is. I'd poke around a bit until I found it.
The Ancient Warrior: I can't find my "Games" folder, any tips where it can be?
Power Word: Gold: Glad to help!
IPancho97I: Thank you!
