jrsavoie: Does anybody know where I can find videos showing how to swap the whole door weather seal and all out?
I need videos on switching the weather stripping out and everything else
red03mitsu: i have a 98 c1500. do you have a video that shows replacement of just the door latch mechanism ? im doing mine and its a pain in the ass.
westporttom: Wow, talk about great customer service .... I ordered the inside and outside door handle for my '98 Chevy truck on a Tuesday and had it in hand, delivered on Thursday. Two days!! also great prices and video's, you guys rock! will deff. do business in the future. thanks again
westporttom: thank you Mike Green great video, you make it look easy that's the sign of a pro. I'll be replacing my inside and exterior handle asap, thanks again!
Mike Griffin: Where is the video to take off the interior door panel
avi lugassy: You do not need to remove the inside of the door or the window regulator, simply just unscrew the handle from hole provided in inner door frame. Unscrew the 3 bolts on the side of the door and lift mechanism gently with your hands freeing up space for the door handle to come out. Keep the key in the lock to turn it as needed. I did this with my handles and saved a lot of time. The door handle has to come out at a funny angle and you need to hold the handle "open" to get it past the frame.. play with it for 5 minutes and you will save a world of pain. :)
cr8mtr: Thanks, I spent 2 hours trying to get one back in on my 2000 C3500 work truck, old style body. The trick is to remove the door latch & bring it up into the rods on the handle. This is just one of the many reasons I quit buying GM products back in 2002. My truck has had 5 inside door handles and 1 outside handle replaced. That welded rear window guide is just a very poor design.
Vvykk: Your video does not show or even explain how to remove the lock mechanism from the old handle. What tool is used to remove the lock?
motorTranz: This doesn't show you removing the window regulator. I did it with my regulator in place on my '96 Suburban. Thank you.
Richard Crissman: Great group of videos! Unfortunately I have to do all the above to my door but certainly feel more comfortable since now watching it performed. Excellent!
Rich Stine: So wait, you removed the entire interior door panel, including the window regulator, and manually pushed the window up and taped it so it would stay?
Tom Gibson: Is there a name for the rod at 3:02? Mine is bent to hell and needs to be replaced but I can not find it anywhere online. I've searched using the term "door rod" but I have no clue if that is correct.
Ralph Bennette: Do you have video on how to replace the door lock mine is good but fell inside the door
1A Auto Parts: @Ron Coker You may be able to get one from the dealer. Hope this helps you out.
Ron Coker: I need to replace the broken clip on the back of the door lock cylinder that is being pointed out during the video. Where can I get one?
Green Power Farm: Thank you very much sir !
Fermin Garcia: How would I open my door if both door handles dont work
Joshua Combs: What can I do if my interior door handle is broken along with the exterior door handle does not work either? Am I screwed or is there a way to get the door open somehow so I can replace them?
1A Auto Parts: HI Chris, copy and paste this code into YouTube search x1RT5FFnMk8 it will show you how to remove that interior door panel. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
