Samantha Mantica Levesque: I see a lot of people concerned with their child eating them and getting pieces off... I ask how is that possible they would need to rip off the fabric too...??? Love this idea going to attempt it this weekend
Khoir Smith: I really love this. I checked the prices for these bumpers and i gasped.... They are so expensive. To purchase your own materials, and know that you will have the correct amount needed and right color makes a huge difference. Not to mention the feeling of making somethong by hand for you're kids. Thank you for sharing. Tutorial was very detailed.
Janice Selden: Nice idea. But did you research the chemicals that's used in the pipe insulation.?
Wendy Kuzniar: love this. I think I will try this,
Transitdolly Dawn: sorry ( you're)
Transitdolly Dawn: great idea and great solution your a smart cookie ;) those are my favorite color. only thing I would have alternated the color ribbon :purple on white and white on purple. Beautiful Job
Julie Kendall: What is the width of the panels cut for each bumper?
sansom40: It's pipe insulation. ..not a fabric material. I would question the safety of this as the child ages. I would consider choking Hazzard because they can bite pieces off and get choked. Just saying I wouldn't have this for long term
Dawn K: You did a really good job! I probably would have used gorilla glue or crazy glue to keep the ends secured. I think it's cool when others come up with a solution that doesn't break the bank!
Darcinea “Darci” Moore: I can see my son eating this up :(
Katrina Quick: This is a great tutorial. Thanks so much.
Debbie Donald: I would be curious on the cost as well. I know here flannel is about 6.99 to 9.99 a yard. How much did it take? I wonder if you could use those noodles that you float with in the pool? I also wonder about safety issues.
