Robots4Sale: everyone says use acro for turnigy 9x and quadcopter, so i need those
Guide504: hi there
I cannot set up the transmitter link loss failsafe on either of my naza m
the turnigy 9x just will not work. I am using standard v2 with v2 module
when I turn off the transmitter it just stays in the air until I switch the
radio back on and retake control.
as far as the 9x failsafe I have tried to use it to activate the failsafe
value on the three position switch and this does not work either.
any ideas.....I am starting to think of a futaba t8j.........!
3D Editor: does the receiver stay connected to the naza inside the quadcopter once
everything is calibrated? Also why did you skip channel 5 on the receiver?
e Nadir: Hello, I followed all the steps :). But my problem that my dji f550, naza-m
lite with turnigy 9x mode 2 (v2), my problem that can't start the motor's! !
I'm not sure what is wrong/problem and really need help (please). Many
jester f: you forgot to show how to set up fly away mode, wait i think thats already
set up from factory
James Dyke: Superb video. I was panicking when I saw the 42 page manual, but this video
really clears it up.
Laskar: You don't speak about IOC ...
Dean Sutherland: Hi i have a DJI phantom 1 and i have a turnigy 9x. can i do the same setup
like you in this video?
CJ Browny: I have this video in my favorites because it is intelligently presented and
clear and to the point. Thanks.
Joseph McWilliams: Thank You Very Much! The video with the remote on the right side and NAZA
assistant on the left was brilliant! I had one thing reversed, now
everything works great, Kudos on the most excellent video!
OSCAR OSCAR: Hi Kirikset. I´ve followed your tuto ( it´s grate ) because I have the same
Turnigy radio but have a problem. When I move the throttle the channel U
moves too, so it change the fly mode from GPS to manual to att and so on.
You know what happens?
erkan aksoylu: spasibo
Mike Holt: Can I use versatility unit (with USB cable) from Naza MC 2.0 to plug in to
NAZA lite MC for programming Naza lite?
kalabakacity: The best video for connect turnigy to naza!! Great video.... Bravo from
Frosty619: Thanks for making this video. It helped with most of my set up.
M1CH43L1981: Hey there. I Know this is an old video but can you help me with this issue?
I have the Turnigy T9 Connected to the default receiver and to a Naza-M V2.
Now I have set up the flight modes (GPS, Atti, Manual). I am also able to
set the Gear-switch as a forced Failsave switch. But I am not able to set
an other switch The IOC mdes? I would like to just set the Homelock on an
off with a two-way Switch.
Edward Siyavong: I'am having a problem with my naza assistance solfware at thd bottom box
that said mc output on or off,my saids on and do I turn it off.? Thanks
Nathan Bowles: I cant get my turnigy 9x to even do the TX calibration, keeps coming up
ThinkGreen1976: Awesome video about Naza setup with Turnigy 9x. Manual does not say lot's
rockyFLYR: you are the best!!
TheFido03: Just wanted to add that i can get it to failsafe with the switch like in
cpenteriche: Hi, thanks for your quick response. I just want to know how to setup my
turnigy 9x with home lock or course lock, since I cannot have both
configured. It will help a lot for sure since I'm a begginner. :)
Soldier53flyer: Hi I'm having trouble programming my Naza? it will not talk to my quad? can
you help me? Please. the software is not working.
TheFido03: On another video it said to set the transmitter on acro and not heli
becuase it won't fly correctly.
kirikset: what happens if you take your naza out of the copter, connect it to the VU,
power it up with nothing hooked up? Does it flash the light like a normal
start up sequence? Try connecting to the pc to check the the light turning
green and wheather the naza sees you transmitter input. Also check ESC's
and motors by hooking them up to the transmitter directly, calibrating,
checking all settings on them and running your motors. could you please
share what you've checked and are 100% shure that works?
kirikset: I do not own WKM, it is an overkill for my smaller quadcopter and I really
have no complaints or missing features compared to WKM to buy it for my
much bigger hexacopter. I do not know anyone personally and have not seen
step by step setups. Maybe check DJI youtube channel, they seem to post
lots of tips. 9x may be not enought if you want to use all features at the
same time and i strongly advise againts using it with stock radio link as
it lacks fail-safe. If in no hurry - buy frsky taranis
Mike Flyer: Sorry I spelled your name wrong.1jamac1
Ixtocaltro: Thanks for your fantastic video. Just two question: 1. Why do you set it on
heli mode? 2. Is it normal that motors startup very fast? Thanks for your
david ringler: i have the turnigy 9x with stock receiver, will i be able to follow your
video and have a failsafe like you have shown?. firstname.lastname@example.org
Gareth Rens: did you install the USB drivers for the naza???
GarretB123: Thanks much! My F450 Flamewheel with Naza controller is almost complete. I
just received my GPS yesterday and I was getting worried about setting it
up with my Turnigy 9x (modfied with FrSky module). I'm grateful you put
this video together. It is going to help me tremendously!
kirikset: yep) after 7:50 I do almost the same thing. You should experiment with
pitch values to see which correspond to what control modes. Then simply
choose the desired order of flight modes and set three pitch curves to the
kirikset: I'll soon get down to making tonst of videos on my current setups. It's
been a crazy summer. I've been trying to build, test and fly lots of new
models, because from november til may there is basically very little
opportunity to fly anything but DLG and big multirotors for me.
rcartelian: Any video with new configuration ? I have same Turnigy 9X v2 , with FrSky
D8R rx and DJT mod. and try to figure out withc is the best solution setup.
Any difference true the setup from this video and FrSky ?
BENNY THE BRAVE: hey mate i have a spectrum dx8 and I plugged in all the plugs in the right
spots and i turn it on and it flashes does the normal flashes and then does
the 3 green flashes then it flashes red and when i connect to pc i have 8
errors and it says i have too call naza do u think i have a broken unit??
kirikset: I'm very pleased to hear that! Trying to be helpful. There are more videos
coming about in-flight tuning of NAZA and a review of FrSky telemetry
system. As soon as I'm done with my exams. I hope to deliver at least 1
video before the end of June.
madebythebird: Great video, thankyou! Spent days interpreting those horrible manuals but
this video explains setup very well. For noobs, it would be good to include
some definitions of terms, too.
dtmpowerboss: слыш как начинать летать нада арм делать каждый раз я полностю газ выкличаю?
Саша Куприн: отличный обзор!!! А на русском такой есть?
Gareth Rens: How do you do compass calibration if you have the 3 position switch set to
dtmpowerboss: в autopilot там есть remote adjust x1 или x2 и патом на пульте мона
регулирувать у меня есть gps и у меня dx7s пульт и я когда виставляю на х1
или х2 неработает крутилка
Chris Gregory: Hi - thanks for this video. have you or do you know anyone who has
successfully configured the turnigy 9x with the DJI WKM? I'm fairly new to
this hobby, but I'm told that the WKM is the best in the industry and the
9x may not work - thoughts?
kirikset: You can set It up with either acro or heli mode as you wish
kirikset: Thanks! 1) may seem crazy weird but I find it the easiest to set up mode
switching. I describe in the video how I use flat pitch curves to choose
flight modes. Basically you can assign 3 pitch curves to 3 positions of a 3
way switc on Turnigy 9x in heli mode. To do it in plane or glider modes you
have to use lots of mixes and it all gets unwieldy to adjust late. Yuou
don’t have to do it if you want only 2 modes on 1 switch or have a better
radio with a dedicated 3-position gyro or gear switch.
Pinyo Folvig: I honestly started to think my DJI Naza was faulty. Spent many hours trying
to get escs to arm. Radio was set right and everything. Using the rmilec
lrs and turnigy x9 radio. But after watching your video it fixed
everything. Cheers mate. Perfect explanation video. For the amount of
investment made on the controller and the gps, I wish they had better setup
videos. BTW problem was the safety start up, needs to be in atti mode and
move both sticks to bottom left and it will start up.
Emilio Treviño: i have the same problema do you fixed???
kirikset: 2) not quite sure. You should check esc min-max throttle calibration and
try adjusting motor idle speed in the naza controller to the left (slower
ripcurl010: good info but its gimbal not jimbal
kirikset: Oh, I just realized that this video was shot before I got a FrSky Rx/Tx kit
that has failsafe) The short answer is - DO NOT USE course lock and home
lock. They are incredibly likely to cause crashes. They will work only with
GPS lock ans in this situation, it is much better to assign a switch to RTH
and setup faisafe.
kirikset: I yould start by incrementally lowering pitch and roll basic gains. To set
up gains you should start from low values like 60 and go up until your
copter starts to oscilate on the axis you are tuning and than decrease the
gain a bit. In your case just lower them until your f450 still levels
itself quickly after a quick stick inut but does not overshoot or oscilate.
Use remote gains adjustment,it makes life simpler)
