TechMadeEasyUK: Hi, there is an option under Settings-->Video--Library to update the video
library on startup. This will add any new files every time you turn the
TechMadeEasyUK: @psydaus Hi, thanks for the comment, my cursor is slightly different
because I was actually using XBMC on an Apple Mac. I don't believe there is
a way to change the cursor within XBMC. I'm not sure what you are asking
with regard to the second part of your query, could you elaborate? Feel
free to message me or Email me via the website
TechMadeEasyUK: @dhante0334 Hi, the issue is not a difference between Windows and Linux.
This video is quite old now and XBMC has changed (to version 10.1) since
then. The script and plugin features are accessed differently on the new
version. Do a search for XBMC Dharma in order to see how the new features
mark ling: silly question, alright simply put it, i think it is illegal. but im almost
certain im wrong.
mrbr549: Great video! Unfortunately, I've noticed that a lot of the video add-ons
don't work. Is there some way to get them working again? Maybe you could do
a video on how to repair scripts so the add-ons will work. Other then that,
I love XBMC.
TechMadeEasyUK: @hasaniguy This is an older version, I made the video in May last year.
Most of the "look and feel" is the same as Dharma, as is the installation
in Windows. The only difference would be with the new plugin system on
karrrzzzz: where do you download all the multimedia from? like the tv shows, movies etc
Thomas Homme: Hi. I have done exactly what you're doing, but it doesnt download the
information for my tv-shows. It just stops, all movies works, but I can't
access the library mode, and I don't get _any_ fanarts, got any ideas?
Great movie btw :)
tranvozcaya: @TechMadeEasyUK well.. i will install it from the beginig.. then i'll try
to folllow your tutorial once more to add "media files" following your
instrucctions.. it looks so easy.. I thank you very much .. now i know i'm
doing some thing wrong. I'll try up ..
crazyaboutwargames26: @TechMadeEasyUK from where I would like to know
TechMadeEasyUK: Yes there is.
TechMadeEasyUK: This was the default skin when this video was created in 2010
TechMadeEasyUK: This tutorial uses an older version of XBMC. The layout of XBMC has changed
significantly since this video was made.
TechMadeEasyUK: Hi, are you sure you're downloading this version? The current "live"
version is V11.0 - Eden.
idaus: i was wondering how you got your mouse that colour also it says live at the
end of the downlad center so does that mean i can stream it through a usb
on the back of my tv
TechMadeEasyUK: @crazyaboutwargames26 Online stores such as iTunes,
TechMadeEasyUK: Hi, XBMC runs on Windows so you should be able to add any Windows based
game to the library. We'll look at covering this in another video.
dan folo: i've downloaded it but i have to keep installing it when i use it.
TechMadeEasyUK: That's correct yet, providing both PCs are on the same network
TechMadeEasyUK: Yes and Yes
TechMadeEasyUK: Hi, although XBMC started life as a hack for the original Xbox, there is no
longer a current version for either the original Xbox or the Xbox 360.
TechMadeEasyUK: @BusinessMan4050 I own them
SalineDuckling: Where did you get all of your Tv-Shows from?
Nick Nerrog: How do you update it to download the shows description? Mine doesn't seem
to do that.
TechMadeEasyUK: @crazyaboutwargames26 some of them are downloaded (legitimately) others are
digital copies from Blu-rays and DVD's
crazyaboutwargames26: how did you get all those tv shows
TechMadeEasyUK: Sorry I only speak English
Together We Stand - Divided We Fall: To get this "look" just download & install the Confluence Vertical Mod
TechMadeEasyUK: @hasaniguy no I don't, but you're not the first person to ask so I'll see
if I can find out how and then upload a video
kennethsTutorials: Thank you so much for the information, I have it added to my Xbox 1 and had
no idea you could add thumbnails like that thanks.
Richard Saltos: I have mute in the cornel I can not listen to movies what I can do to
connect the speakers
Rob Burton: Hi, I'm using XBMC on my Apple TV 1st gen and have 2 external hard drives
containing my dvdv rips...... well my question is when I rip any new films
in the future how do I update the movie metadata to show the video art and
film description etc? Thank you
danny ho: oh forget the second question, you've already explained it, I wasn't paying
kkkhumberto666: is there a volume control
detroitsbest: nvm thanks for replying :-)
TechMadeEasyUK: @tranvozcaya There isn't an up to date Megavideo plugin for XBMC. The best
thing for you to do would be to ask on the forums to see if anyone is
working on a plugin for XBMC that will let you use a Megavideo account
TechMadeEasyUK: Hi, there is no "out of the box" satellite integration with XBMC. It is
primarily used to playback media files on your PC or on your home network.
It will only playback the audio tracks and subtitles that are a part of the
original movie file.
Gencler Birliyiy: Bu program ne ucundu
crazyaboutwargames26: @TechMadeEasyUK what I mean is did you downloaded all of those tv shows
TechMadeEasyUK: Actually, in the UK it is legal to make digital copies of your purchased
movies for personal use.
detroitsbest: how do u get xbox scripts?
GabrooSherPunjabDda: So you can wirelessly stream videos from another pc? Is that correct?
TechMadeEasyUK: @crazyaboutwargames26 This has been asked further down the comments. I own
Andres Rodriguez: lol urr blind
TechMadeEasyUK: @detroitsbest Can you confirm what you mean?
kkkhumberto666: Yeea I found out pressing ramdom buttens...its f8 or somthing thanks thow
TechMadeEasyUK: @tranvozcaya If you've installed it succesfully then there is no need to
register on any website or forum. You have to provide your own movie
library from your own media files, there is no free media associated with
XBMC. You have to run the XBMC program on your computer and then add your
media files to it's library using the "Add Source..." option under the
TechMadeEasyUK: @thomaslool Thanks for the comments, unfortunately this video is a little
out of date. A new version of XBMC has been released since I made this
video. Under the new version, make sure that you have "The TVDB" installed
under "TV Information" In the add-ons directory. This should pick up all
the information for you.
