danz409: too bad there isn't such a thing as a "true" unlimited data plan. why are
providers soo stingy with data? can they just not support all users with
valdeelrico: Could I use an unlocked hotspot to work on any carrier? To be specific can
I use an unlocked Verizon hotspot on the T-mobile network?
Smartfay345678: is This Legal to Do.
Joshua Williamson: I have finally had it with Verizon's data charges. I urge all of you to
switch to T-Mobile if you live in an area with good 4G coverage. The
duopoly in this industry needs to end.
vexas: WELL, THOSE PEOPLE SELLING THESE ON CL AND EBAY ARE ASKING ~$500, SO NO
Roberto Maldonado: Can I use a Tmobile SIM card on the verizon mifi Jetpack
Victron Ambassador: what is the best prepaid sim to use in a 4620L after unlock?
buggie m: Omg thank you. I live in a rural area and my hotspot is my only internet
source and we use more than 20 gigs a month plus overages. $190 just in
internet last month. Thank you thank you thank you thank you. Doing this
Alina Vitali: I purchased 4G LTE unlimited hotspot from H2O BOLT. They disconnected my
services because "unreasonable use." They did never explain what
unreasonable means. Since I'm watching Netflix and Hulu, I'm being
unreasonable. So kudos to those who does something about it. Maybe
eventually they would make their services and prices reasonable.
Martin Lerch: Just wait until they find out that you are not using a mobile phone, but a
mifi and then please update with another video when you open the bill for
all the overages they will charge you. That would be great. I hate it that
they don't have a legal way to get an unlimited data plan for mifi's. But
doing it illegally is not the way either.
Francisco Estrada: Can u make a video on how to get 4g lte unlimted data please thank you
Lee Hazlett: assumption of liability
James Swag: did he cut his laptop
Chris Hippensteel: Does this work with the overdrive pro on virgin mobile?
TheKCarmine: Too bad verizon phones dont have sim cards
Tyler Host: I have sprint unlimited data will it still work?
Martin Lerch: So I went to Verizon and asked them to change my unlimited mifi 3G data
plan to an unlimited 4G data plan + voice on a 4G phone. They said that
they can't do it. It is not upgradable. They told me that I could switch to
something like an iPhone 4, which is 3G, but that's about it. No upgrade
for me. They won't/can't do it. I tried 2 different stores and got a 4G sim
and had someone try it over the phone. Won't work. What now?
Nate Mishke: Does he mean 4g LTE or 4g?
Tyler: This is true with donte, It is my data and i choose to tether mine. Power
to this guy for figuring it out. For people like me the live outside the
dsl range this is the only internet i can use for gaming and fast enough to
stream at 1080p. I use on average 90+GB a month.
Wink Da Freek: Will this work for T-Mobile and or any other service providers ?
Dave Bristyles: If you have a unlocked mifi can't you just activate a straight talk sim
card and place it in there?
Tenzin Shakya: I was wondering if anyone had their unlimited data plan throttled to only
3g. I am going through this experience and was hoping if anyone could
heinzkitzvelvet: At this moment I am using a 4g voyager from clear. Clear sold out to sprint
awhile back and that, I believe, was the last truly unlimited data plan
available in the U.S. True it isn't very fast, 1.2-1.5mb sustained download
speeds on it's best days. I'm a download whore, and being a download whore
means if they ever shut me off or I lose my gear.... I'm screwed. Unless I
wanna pay a thousand bux a month for internet because right now I'm
averaging about 100gb a month..... for $50!!! Verizon and everyone else
would rape me so hard for that it would be a crime. It runs on Sprints
network which is extremely spotty and I have, in the past, dealt with some
throttling issues. Today, I'm a truck driver and I'm in so many different
area so often that I don't think they can keep up with me coz I have not
been throttled in an age. (sigh) Anyway, I fear the good 'ol days of truly
unlimited data are gone. I'm sure there are some hardcore hackers out there
that can figure out a way to put the screws to the man, but that's not me.
I just don't have the time to mess with it.
hubosity: I have unlimited data plan on Verizon and I tried this. 4g works on the
MIFI with the phone's sim card, but if I log in to my verizonwireless
account, it shows my device as the MIFI and it shows the data plan as
capped at 2GB. it seems verizon is really intent on limiting the unlimited
data plans to a single device.
FilthyFletch: Why wouldnt you just root the phone install the free wiffi hot spot app and
then make the phone your wifi hotspot unlimited users 4G speeds and no need
to waste money on the jet pack??
Greenvegan828: Does this work in 2013?
Sarah Postell: How much is monthly bill
CHACHIGO: can you please help me??? I have a plan with at&t and have for years.
right now I am not under contract and wish to use lte and other options to
get rid of my phone minutes and save money on internet and I am soooo
confused! they almost had me get all of these things and sign away my life
for two years and I am learning there are cheaper ways. they also keep
overcharging me each month. I want to get a tablet and perhaps a smart tv
so I am paying a cable company for tv, dvr and internet and att for phone
and phone data and it is too much for too little.
Sepero1: Almost 1yr later and the price for those unlimited data plans have gone
from $20-$50 to over $300. I wish I would have seen this video a year
Patrick Finley: yeah...about now these grandfathered plans go for $150+ on Ebay now xD.
cuethebass: How much are you paying a month?
x1xAlldayx1x: will this work for other mifi hotspot devices?
neo1738: To David - Verizon just started using sim cards on 4G LTE phones only. If
you have an older 3g only phone you don't have a SIM card. If you upgrade
to a 4G phone you would then get a SIM. Zach - all Verizon phones
(including Iphone) have some sort of SIM card slot similar to micro SD
slots that you can access without opening the phone and voiding the
warranty. Most of them are just under the battery cover near the battery,
some are slots like SD cards (Iphone is like that). Hope this helps.
PrettyGen2x: Who Is Your Service Provider?
Justin Datkins: Can't you just use your phones sim card that you already have?. I.have
unlimited now so can I just use the sim card when I want WiFi and put it
back in my phone when Iam done?
Ryan: Are you still using the plan? How much data to you average? I have two
unlimited 4G plans and dont want to set off any flags
david steffen: They stated taking SIM card out of Verizon phone I have never had a SIM
card to take out of any of my Verizon phones I've had Verizon service for 6
or 7 years. Unless maybe it's built into the phone were you can't take it
out. Maybe you opened it up to get it out.
wiserjoe1: or you can just get the $30 unlimited tethering with the account and tether
Patrick Louie: I wasn't able to drop it down past 450min plan. How were u able to do that?
oglilp2fo: duuuhhh... try it! Yes you can~
Jessie Vance: my mom blocked my phone from hooking up to that wifi how can i unblock it?
idk how to use that jetpack
Skinny Man: do i have to Flash the Mifi? and how much are the lowest plans ?
jemmi77: Will thos work with the 3g speed on the mifi?
Intentes: How much is it a month ?
korey looney: Until they put a squeeze on your data stream by telling me using 40gigs is
58fm85: Will this hot spot work for my gaming systems as well?
Hard Work: @hykos1045
Nicholassc7k: wow... this is awesome. It will be great for gaming and downloading massive
files! thanks a lot.
byron robertson: I took your info and did exactly what u said been having unlimited wifi for
about a month now 45 gigs so far and it's great thanks
fatalcrixer: Look on eBay I've personally found many on there.
