Sea Edu: cool video
gustavo520: the roof is made of thatch i believe
nice video and interesting island, i had read about its history with the
wall..oh and i just bought the car, its great!
TheJoeMB: German cars are really well engineered but after you have one that's a few
years old the reliability stories i hear are quite scary, Japanese cars are
way more reliable especially in old age. There is very little that goes
wrong, my friend's Golf MK 4 Gti has been very problematic.
Darek Nowak: So the facelift 116i has 2.0litre bottom? right?
incorporateapps1: What's the color?
TheGetawayer: @TheAMGLover : I did my research on wikipedia and this video was recorded
in 2010. Not sure about the specs in belgium, but thanks for sharing these
informations with me !
hifispezialist: @TheGetawayer ok, danke für die schnelle antwort
WaSeeM: I like it better than the newer one
TheGetawayer: It's my video and I talk about what I want, lol
Damon Hussain: is this a 1.6 L ?
mynamehaschanged: I have a question for you, hope you can answer. I own a 2007 BMW 120i
(bought it brand new in a BMW Agency), since new it has given me a lot of
problems, but I love the way it drives. The fuel consumption is the worst
(7 km/L=16.4 MPG=14.28 L/100km). This is my question, I am planning on
changing it for a bigger car, What do you think about a 2013 BMW 3 series
or a 2013 Audi A4? Do you think with an Audi A4 I could have less problems?
Jelle Van de Moortel: Thanks for the quick answer, I'm always doubting about what will be my next
car. "3 series! Why not a 5? Or maybe a 1 series? The Mini Cooper is nice
too! No, just buy a 3!! Or 1.."... I'm just crazy :s
Nightfly1957: great video
NEWYORKVISIT: Die Geräusche die man hört während du fährst, sind die vom Auto? Ich meine
gehört zu haben, dass der 1er ziemlich klappert und "knattert". Danke dir
TheGetawayer: @TheSRalston : That must be an old brochure, buddy. Since March 2009 the
116i comes with the 2 liter engine that replaced the old and much more
thirsty 1600cc that also had 122bph, just like the new engine but with less
torque. Enginecode N43B20 for 116i, 118i and 120i, build since 2007 in the
118i and 120i
kattlikzm: is there a HUGE difference between the 116i (1,6?) and the 120i ? 2007
modell. Please reply
magikroom: Nice review, just getting one as my company car and yous is probably one of
the best reviews out there...plus I liked you descriptions of the villages
etc...by the way, I think the roofs on the village houses are called
'thatched'...made of straw! Great vid :)
turpioSE: probably in Germany domestic cars are well priced. But outside ridiculously
expensive. Eg Toyota engines can outlast BMW, Merc, Audi etc I know people
never had issues with Japanese cars whereas Euro models nothing but repairs
especially oil & coolant leaks. I drove a new Toyota Yaris 1.3 litre and
was amazed, you get heaps of gear even Sat Nav, 7 Airbags, climate control,
voice control, ABS, ESC, TRC, EPS, cruise as standard for 20k. Plus 5 year
warranty- BMW has 3 years.
kandoley: Good review. Watching it made me buy one.
kattlikzm: @TheGetawayer Thanks a lot! I'm going to buy a 2010 120i this month or
something, looking forward to it! Can't wait for a new bmw ;)!
Legoklosse23: Do you have a good sight while driving?
WARRIORURIEL: hi i am going to buy my first car and here in my country (Peru) the A1
sportback is 28500 dollars or i could buy a used 2011 bmw 116 with M
acesories (15000 kilometers) for 27000 dollars does the bmw worth it? i
have drive the A1 and i love the feeling althought i have not drive many
cars so what you think? should i go for the bmw or the audi?bmw or audi?
hifispezialist: was war das für ein baujahr??
petrus250: I'm buyng a car like this, 2009 model, white...:-D
Jelle Van de Moortel: How is legroom in the back?
TheGetawayer: @seen320 : Dankeschön ! Freue mich immer über solche deutschen Kommentare
RisingOverBars: you're suppose to talk about the car not the village.
TheGetawayer: @Nightfly1957 : Thanks ! Happy new year !
TheGetawayer: Thanks for watching and thanks for your feedback !
carlitos1259: should I buy a used 116i 122bhp from 2008 with 33 000km for 13 000 Euros?
TheGetawayer: Thanks ! It was one of my first reviews and I never thought that over
70.000 people would watch it. Today ( two years later ) my language skills
have imnproved and the videos are more informative. Greetings from germany,
Guido aka TheGetawayer
TheGetawayer: @kattlikzm : It's a 2010. I also have a review of a 120d, that might be
interesting for you
kattlikzm: @TheGetawayer What about fuel? and does the 116i get up fast to 100? And
one more question! does ALL the 116i have 2,0 engines? or just some? Great
review by the way! thanks a lot for the video and for the quick response on
TheGetawayer: @KohviKruus : Sure ! It's easy to drive and more fun than most compact
cars, so why not ?
TheGetawayer: Very limited sadly. I think the VW Golf and Audi A3 offer more space
TheGetawayer: Hey there ! I think the A1 is a great first car and if you like driving it,
you should go for it. I wouldn't recoomend a beginner a rearwheeldriven car
like the 1 series, eventhough it is very easy to drive. I'd say Audi, but
test drive the 1 series too and go from there. Greetings, Guido aka
23overagain: Hey , nice review , and good reviews in general, i wanted to ask for your
opinion, i want to buy a used 1 series from Deutschland, wich engine should
i look for? 116i is a bit to lazy for me, should i go with a diesel or a
petrol ? 118d or 118i?(like a sporty feeling) ( i drive about 13000 km per
year ) Thanks !!
laikros: Dude you eyes telling me your secret weapon ,]
xboxersg: I didn't know Germany has got an island of her own! Did she forget to
return it to the French 70 years ago? Nice review though. It's better than
those lame ass "salesman" some reviewers are so fond of.
TheGetawayer: I have reviews of both cars the 2013 BMW 3 series and the 2013 Audi A4 here
on my channel...It's hard to say if they will cause you less problems, but
both have way better fuel economy than what you're getting from your car.
It's always sad to here that people have issues with their cars. I only
drive them for a few days, so I have no idea how long they last...I think
the first generation of the 1 series wasn't that grea, but once they
changed the engines, things got better, I hear...Greets
Pasii14: Wie viel kostet der BMW 116i circa?
FyahStarta: I'm getting mine in a couple of weeks and can't wait! Thanks for the vid!
TheGetawayer: @FyahStarta : Your welcome ! Have fun with it, it's a truely great car !
CreRay: You're right. I own a BMW 1 series, and let me tell you it's expensive, not
roomy, uncomfortable for the type of car, relatively heavy to operate, and
many will find it's design quirky. Yet still, I love it. As a drivers car
it is unbeatable in its class. The steering, the gearbox, suspension, not
other car "talks" to you this much. Most people won't appreciate that- a
Toyota or a Honda is a better choice then.
TheGetawayer: Haha, well there are a few german islands, especially in this area and
they've been german for way longer than 70 years :) Thanks for your comment
Rosu Mihai: nice little car that almost "drives itself". the review is too boring. > I
wonder who is interested in hearing about islands an houses in a car
review? And navigation systems? Boooring!
TheGetawayer: Um Längen, besonders im Verbrauch
TheGetawayer: As long as the car has a proper service history and hasn't been in an
accident, I think you won't go wrong with a used 1 series. They aren't
known for having big technical issues and seem to be very reliable too Hope
that helps ! Otherwise search the web and some forum to find out more,
about what thing to look for when you are buying a used 1 series
footballbazzer: Great review, i am going to buy one tomorrow, your english is good, and you
know how to do a top review, thanks
