optimistONE: I like it! I think the landing gears should have an adjustable spring. I
too would like to see some other paint schemes although I do like the
Dick Gibson: Is there a build video for this plane>
BrotherBloat: nice! new intro? :)
420choky: hahah landing springs failed on a promo lol
EMPrcRacing: I like it alot.. looks very scale... Love the landing gear as well... You
should try to have it in Other paint schemes... I like it can't wait tell
this comes out, first on my list for the summer!
SNDNGRKLR: funny mine came with a 1800mah they should advertise as "what ever we feel
like tossing in that day" lol Well detailed plane for a foamie. flies
CatapultCat01: Very nice design execution for Airfield on their J-3 Cub. I do hope you are
right Tony about Airfield correcting the spring issue with the landing
gear. It appears that the material used for the spring was not properly
tempered. However perhaps it was the weakest and easiest link in the chain
to fix...just need to include a few springs in the package as replacements.
munch muncher: i'm getting this soon i hope
bagelpro14: What type of connecter on the esc?
Dwayne Tipton: Ive been looking at the J-3 cub I was just waiting for the scale verse like
my trainer to come out..very nice
pip3ercub: I have a piper J-3 cub and I would like to know is it scary to fly at all
Thomas Miller: wow, you could probably watch a movie on the radio.
nitroplanes: @joboikickme I wouldn't really recommend it, the wheels aren't that big to
take off/land on grass.
MissPeacockENR: that plane is awesome
adampope64: @tenrazo215 its not... the Cessna has a better motor and is faster. the J3
cub is a great trainer in any size. however.
Nicks Multiview Channel: just bout it and so far its looking sexy as hell
e260mrd: Fix the LG add flaps and I'd buy it
batteryman54: how much are you expecting for it?
bluzjamer: Are you going to carry spare parts for this one? HK has a big one for less
dough. Made out of balsa also.
carscs: Why does it have to be a German Cub? :)
Soldier53flyer: looks great but I would fix the landing gear! there out there and people
have posted there videos on youtube about the gear breaking? but nice plane.
Jerry Cheng: can it take off and specially land on a grassy field, like football field
or baseball field? if it can with out it tumbling im definitely buying it
matazBoss: How is this for getting after something like a Hawk Sky??
SubatomicMD: :) Another Awesome Video by Nitroplanes!! keep up the Great work guys...
thesniper1191: I don't know a whole lot about specific planes or if there is a difference
between Piper J-3 Cub and a Piper Cub like there is with a Super Cub, but
I've seen a number of the Piper Cub and they were flown from the front. May
be the date of design, I don't know.
nitroplanes: You should be able to add flaps to it but it's going to have to be a custom
gtafan2006: @pbr51 theres really just one problem with that i dont think the cubs came
with lights in them. unless they were added after the factory that is as
most of them had no switches for lights in the roosterpit.
Blueray450: NICE plane. A quick build big yellow electric cub is a good addition
riffmeister7: You have a flyzone plane? How do you like it? I've got three flyzone planes
(all micro) and, I gotta be honest, I'm not impressed.
chrissballer: no offense, but your kinda rude to talk to on the phone!
mamodfan: @carscs Its an english one ;-) "G" is the british aircraft
immatriculation.. German would be "D" :-P
nitroplanes: @matazBoss This one and the Sky Trainer would be awesome to get after the
kuminauhapilotti: like it
Tony Iommi Fan: i have the FSX, and one of my favorite single - engine plane is the Piper J
- 3 Cub!
Launchpad1977: Looks good i would love to try it up here at high alltitude and see how she
cofrbooboo: Definitely needs stronger springs, or a change to dual o-rings (which would
be much closer to scale). Looked pretty scale in flight at the lower
throttle settings. One thing is the pilot figure needs to be moved to the
rear seat - Cubs are always soloed from the back seat, not the front. Other
than that looks pretty good!
mickvk: "Let's try a hard landing..." Heh heh, as if there was any other kind! :)
Dwayne Tipton: Thanks Tony for showing us the hard landings.I did see a cub this size on
another website but the springs between the landing gears were a solid
piece of wire with rigging...this is a great buy
Soldier53flyer: How does it fly in high wins?
Rocky McCumbee: When will it be available and how much for a PNP? I'm guessing this is the
StarMax 1400mm Cub re-branded? The StarMax looks to come in two flavors a
3S and a 4S, any chance of a 4S PNP version from NitroPlanes?
Stregalicious: The pilot is in the wrong seat. In the J-3 you fly from the back seat.
nitroplanes: @xMattsRCx The plane comes with a 1600mah battery the sample that's in the
video came with a 2200mah battery. You might be able to use up to a 3S
2650mah battery with no issues.
Wetski: Actually piper doesn't have flaps. That would make the plane imaginary. =)
Blueray450: It's OUT.
Harry Hitchings: The aircraft looks great but I like its smaller cousin better. But it looks
like a real winner once they beef up the springs on the main landing gear.
Keep up the good work , Thanks
Gonads1259: Looks cool Tony and a bigger size than the smaller version. Get it shipped
to the UK pronto!
xMattsRCx: Tony says that the battery is 2200mah but on the website it says 1600mah. I
was wondering wich one it was and what the biggest battery you can fit into
this plane is. Thanks
Chef de NYC: Thanks! I'm more info ultrasound type of work. I learn most of the stuff myself online. Just only recently start looking for a school to make things "official". Hehe
