Dale Wiggins: I got a new pedestal pump after the last one I had failed. I haven't had good luck with submersibles so I'm going back to pedestal. The pump says it's better to put the check valve as close to the pump as possible (illustration shows just above the pump). But I don't want to redo all the PVC piping if not necessary. Does having the check valve higher (it's currently at the same level as in your video) really make that big a difference for the life of the pump?
stefan k: Idiot sharmoota rushkaton banzona miser. I install these in my sleep. I install pumps for high rise apartment buildings downtown pumps the size of your fat ass wife
wingmanalive: Correction, this is not a sump pump installation video but a replacement one. Most are interested in the installation of a sump pump in a house currently without. At least I am. I'd like to see how the well is dug and how you bore through the existing concrete floor. Also without the french drain typically installed around the perimeter and how that affects the system. Replacing an existing pump is a simple swap out today. Thanks.
theplbginfo: @Drew379x I'm super confused by your comment. We are replacing an existing sump pump with a new pump with different dimensions. We show how we cut the pipe, how to measure, how to take off a check, what tools to use etc. What else would you like to see? Would you like to see a sump pump being installed in a new house with no pump? Let me know.
thescreamingid: Thank you.. i just installed a Loweller pump according to your instruction video.. fantastic.
theplbginfo: The best you can do is to make the discharge piping as inconspicuous as possible. Make sure is comes out of the house and turns down as closely to the house as possible. You can seal the opening with caulk that color matches your brick or siding. I hid mine behind a burning bush. How that helps and we're glad you found us.
getyourhappy: thanks for loading
Dave PlugMan: perfect Video. question, how do you hide the pipe that goes outside towards the street or outside the house?
Josh Miguel: Thanks for sharing your video. it's very good!!
radmin2: Thanks for making this. I think I can handle this job myself after seeing this.
ollieflp: @theplbginfo Not interest in you sorry women only ta for reply though ;)
theplbginfo: @ollieflp then what have you learned Dorothy? I'm not seeing it. Hope the video helped you out though.
ollieflp: He reminds me of the tinman from wizzard of oz
schmeckendeugler: I would recommend better lighting. it causes the camera to not focus well. Also, I'd recommend a better microphone.
