David Mason: I have been told by many people with 20-30 years of growing that DWC drain away is the easiest for a first time grower. But with research you can do any grow and it will work. It all depends on how much you want to put into it.

Stinky McNugs: Do a single bucket DWC (not recirculating) defnitely not take the advice to not do deep water culture. Terrible advice, my DWC single buckets take less than 10 minuets to setup from purchase and are SUPER easy to maintain. Dont use an airstone, simply use tubing into a "T" airstones clog and need to be replaced and are a wasted expense.
Duh6666666: There are way simpler DWC systems than this one. This is obviously not a first timers set up.

Kyle Moran: @zerocrombie this is a negative flow system. Instead of pumping water from bucket to bucket it constantly is draining into itself and sucked through the mag pump where it waterfalls. This is not the same as a recirculating dwc. Although you can build this system with blank containers and two reservoirs for about $400, $500 with the diffusers and air pump. And yes you should be running very lighting with this system
