Brandon Godinez-Norris: Is the wave guide necessary? The one I have cant fit a dongle and will have
to be removed from the guide casing.
Voltec Vids: lol the best recording I've every seen
Aaron Mc: Dude you need to really work on your camera skills. But nonetheless you
have a great idea. I'm going to try it but modify it to make it better for
my purpose. I plan on using a yagi antenna with the dish and see if I get a
humberto barboza: the explanation is good, but the video I think it should be better, very
Ahmed 99: and what is content usb
BadassC: Will this setup work for my location? Im trying to pick up signal about a
1/4 block away.
Trying to access the public WIFI from PUBLIX supermarket.
Inomax semu: you are awsomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hell yea i tried it worked here in Arusha
(Tanzania) east Africa
tutman4uuu: Oh my gawsh I just droped my dongle
you3007: Awesome idea I am gonna do it , I Really loved the way you were talking lol
What does bill gates say ......
Andujar Tech: This sound very interesting. Im gonna give a shot to this. If this work...
you are a genius!
BTW, bro, next time ask someone to help you with the camera.
North Man: You freaking evil rocket scientist bastard!! LMFAO.
Adam Fish: Crazy music, A.D.D. style filming, "most excellent," "megaboot per second,"
Bill Gates saying your connection is excellent??? Jesus Christ dude. If it
works it work though. I feel nauseous now.
Phil Neergaard: Truly genius, i have had a lot of problems with my WIFI, bad signal or no
signal and this was my rescue, so max thumbs up, well done!!!
Jamie Matney: Awesome construction! I want to develop a little further... Do you think or
do you know if it would be possible to take that usb network adapter and
then project the signal wirelessly... IE Network adapter to usb > ethernet
cable > router. In order to repeat or extend this wireless network... OR
make an extra long range repeater with relatively the same technology?
Song Sungblue: After 1 min of this I started laughing so hard I had to stop watching, this
guy sounded like he was trying to speak to a 3rd grade science class. I am
guessing the reason why he had the music so loud was to possibly cover up
any snickering that was coming from the next room. The only thing that
could have made this more funny is if He started out by saying "Today boys
and girls......" LOL
Kurt Elliott: That's cool, now I have something to do with the 2 Satellite Dish we have
here, too bad they are a little too big to put on my bike to go out to the
Bike Trail we have.
michaelfishermanny: I suppose that dish really helps got him closer to his own wireless router.
Great Signal.... like to know if it reaches that building across the
street. Hmm. No Proof here.
eurobimmer635: Dude, great video but for the love of god use a stationary camera next
time. I have a frigging headache thanks.
christopher jaeger: sounds great and looks great maby i try it some day
Cari Ann: Man or Astroman? <3 your brain genius :)
ThunderThumbsP: What is the part that you put in call.
Alex Vieira: Boy you funny... Nice video.
isuru jayasanka: mrn
Kurt Elliott: How to build a DIY long range wireless usb free wifi boost antenna
satellite dish booster
g0bl1n1962: Okay, interesting. But I would have spent sometime trying to use a heat
gun, decent length of plastic pipe & carefully bend the pipe (once you've
filled it with sand) into a profile curve to fit the dish arm & LNB head
position fairly closely to the original. You could mount the USB cable
(use a repeater USB cable for improved delivery & signal reception) & mount
the wifi router inside the pipe. Cover the pipe end with a blanking cover
(& improve ingress protection against water, dust, et cetera) which you
solvent glue on. Then once mounted carefully onto the arm (no need to
vandalise the arm with gripper pliers, et cetera!), use solvent glue or
cable ties. You'll have neater design with more aesthetic qualities for
your visitors. However, to overcome neighbours concerns about what you've
got on your balcony Tie a scrim mesh around it with cable ties or string to
destroy any giveaway ideas to others, you can choose some decent colour
schemes for the scrim as it is sold on Ebay for troops to use a sniper
veils, et cetera. Choose a good neutral colour like solid brown/tan/khaki
Semsem Ghasan: this is not true
just bla bla bla
HRVAT1975: Mega"Boot" Really ? lol
thanks for Sharing ;-)
Cleasonsook: I rill wish you had posted the video with out the music
it makes it much harder to hear what your saying
obamaless: You can't receive a femtocell connection from a distance longer than ~25
meters, and you can't improve the speed of your internet just because you
"improved your wifi receiving quality".
Even your theory you base on is lame.
Don't blame yourself kid. Learn physics.
InTheNameOfJustice: Why do people insist on over loud music on their videos? It does not make
them cool to anyone over 15 yrs old.
A mills: one mega boot per second 9:01 lol
S Price: Could use a most excellent tripod for your camera?
Woodman486: You are brilliant thank you so much I have a use for my old satellite dish!
Joey Banks: what is the range on this assembly
zombiemoon: should have gotten a second tripod to put your camera on
OakleafRanger: just tried this out..doesn't seem to work.
the connections available and the connection qualities are exactly the same
on my adapter regardless of being on the satellite.
i'm using a Netgear N900 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter (WNDA4100).
swamp n: Man...have u heard of dsl....lol
AL Ming: you need to loose the music on the video and switch to decaf
Pee Bee: What is going on here
rob m: This guy sounds like he's been doing coke. Maybe a good project but bad
Chen Daniel: Hahaha... Boys & Girls
Carl Winslow: It can send ta signal long range, but I don't see how it can receive
signals, unless the signal is being broadcast long range on the other end.
brad mann: uh, recycle those " trash parts" you dongle.
son goku: I can feel your excitement over that everything fit SO perfectly. haha when
things fit and are utterly perfect i get very excited
Dora flores: I have a question. Will this work in a rural area? We are 9 miles from the
tower with our Clear wifi but there is definitely wifi within 2 miles or
so. Also somebody else posed a solution for what seems a more permanent
type set-up that would allow for multiple computer usage...
"why don't open up the USB receiver and solder the original antenna wire
from the signal box to the little antenna in the receiver, then you open up
the signal box and remove the electronics inside and solder the original
connector to your antenna wire, this should boos the signal more because
you increased the antenna, then the signals the dish will get will be send
to the signal wire and if you want to you can connect another computer up
to the same antenna"
If I used this solution could I run 2 PCs, 3 tablets and my ROKU? I hope
you can and or will answer, thanks!
PeerPressureGang: I am one the best wifi hackers in the world
Jim Johnson: You skipped the router hookup. Which port do I use? Do I still need a
modem? I'm trying to boost my protected wireless signal to my shop. Any
info will help.
