Mesmerise5107: thread, they are sewn down
Aari ana: What are u securing the end of the braids with

Cassandra Payne: Great tutorial we're using it right now to do my hair!
Mesmerise5107: It depends on how short the hair is, you don't want a clear line of demarcation if the clients hair is too short.
Mesmerise5107: Thank you!
Raven Breonna: Thank you so much . I Love it . Will Try It . Does it work for short hair ? Might try on a few of my customers .

Mesmerise5107: Hi thanks for checking out the vid. tbh its all personal preference, in this vid the hair was not permed first, the fact that her hair was not permed made it easier for the braids to stay in...
sweete64133: Hi thanks for your video it is very informative. I am going to be doing my 16 year old daughters hair but I would like to know is it best to do her sew in when she needs a perm? Or do the perm first?
Thank you for your help.

Mesmerise5107: sorry for the late reply, I do not check my YT everyday and I have been engrossed in the Olympics! Hope you managed to get it sorted in time for your date. Good luck. I would have advised what BeautiNista12 kindly advised
Mesmerise5107: Thanks for replying hun, much appreciated
Kierra Bounds: Hey, if the braid becomes lumpy all you have to do is clip the rest of your hair up. Cut the thread from the braid at you don't like. Once the thread is cut, tug on the track gently. Loosen up the track by running your finger between the braid and track to slide the thread out. Then just take the braid down and redo it small and sew it back down, then sew the track back on. Hope this helped.. Good Luck
Shakiera Hamilton: hi i did this style yesterday and wen i was finish the side that i braid under cam e out lumpy what do i do to fix that please help...i got a date tomorrow and i need help on how to fix that

Angelica Williams: I love this video i kept looking for a video exactly like this :)
Mesmerise5107: You dont need that much hair, you wont even need a whole pack...so 1 pack will do. The hair used...Milky Way Yaki is very thick also
Cece DeAnn: How many packs of hair did you use?
Jadamae13: I wanna a partial sew in just like that but a tad longer maybe 10 or 12 inch
Mesmerise5107: Hi, i sew the weft on top of the braid not under, although you can do it that way also
peachpie81: Hello do you put the weft under the braid or on top to sew on.
Mesmerise5107: No worries, you're welcome. Thanks for watching
torih1988: nice. definitely doing this in about 2wks. i was unsure how to make it look less "weavey" lol. thanks for this video! =)

Mesmerise5107: Thanks, glad you like it, and its definitely easy to do and maintain. Also quick to redo as its just a few tracks! It makes a big difference though!!
vallejobaddest: I like it and easy to do...
Mesmerise5107: Glad you like the vid! your comment made me laugh!! I am not a genius :-) Many ladies use this technique to add body / length to their hair. Thanks for the compliment hun <3
jade waite: You are a genius!
Mesmerise5107: The main thing is to choose weave that blends the best with the hair that you are leaving out when doing the partial weave. The length is not so much the determining factor.
Chantel Roberts: My hair is on the short side so would a 8 inch weave be better than a 10 inch for a partial sew in
