hoekone: This is a great video, thankyou to the one who made this and uploaded it. I
have one question, i need to replace my volume/power button flex cable (i
think) and im wondering do i have to go so far as to pull the whole screen
out etc to access and change this? or is there and easier method? Is it
possible that the reason for these buttons to not work anymore has
something to do with the main board or its more then likely this cable? the
tablet still charges showing the battery charge icon while charging and off
but i just cant turn this tablet on anymore because the buttons dont seem
to work anymore, the volume up was for a little while there and i did
manage to power on by pushing down on where the cable connects to the main
board but now none of the buttons on that cable seem to work.
Gerald Stoutenburg: WOOOOOOOOOOW. ..THE most detailed and thorough video I have seen on this
subject. ...I followed it step by step today as I was repairing my
tablet....I would pay or donate money for this video...I visited your site
but saw no way for donations. ....my tablet is looking and working great
again....thank you very much
nr3rful: I just need the digitizer ribbon cable or must I buy the entire frame the
cable is attached to ? And where to purchase it please?
John Kelly: The tutorial is nothing short of excellent. I'd dropped my Galaxy Note 10.1
N8010 and had distorted colour initially. The tutorial showed in detail how
to remove the back cover, which i would have struggled to do without
damaging the unit. Later in the video it clearly showed how to disconect
the leads and in my case it was the screen video leads that I had to check.
Having removed both ends of the lead and then re-connecting, replacing the
cover, my tablet is up and running good as new. I did have to uncheck
inverted colour in the settings;accessories. I've saved a minimum of £60 re
Insurance excess or maybe £100 in a repair shop. Thankyou LE55ONS.
PRO MOS: I need help if you can please, about my Galaxy note 10.1, once I was
transferring a 3-5 GB movie to it using the usb cable, there wasnt enough
space on the device storage but i deleted some files until the free space
exactly fits the movie size.. So i kept it transferring and left the room,
I came back to find the Note is off, I tried to turn it on, but it stuck at
Samsung logo for a while.. I turned it off and on again same logo but this
time with a white strip in the middle of the screen, i did the same process
again and again while there is more white strips appearing finally the
screen was all like white noise.. And it cant be turned off . it just kept
like this way till it drained the battery. Same white screen appear when
you plug the charger without even pressing the power button. But i could
boot in the download mode easily with no such white noise appearing..
Months later i took it to a hardware maintance shop, the guy said it needs
a new cord that connects the screen.. We bought a new one but it wasn't it.
Anyway the hardware guy was some kind unprofessional and damaged my Note
10.1, after troubles with the guy I took my note back but it was completely
dead, no white screen, no download mode, nothing.. Finally took it a
official Samsung repairing, they tried to change the mother board and the
battery but with no results... I don't know what to do with it, it's just
laying there on the table as a decoration :3
Please if you have free time drop me a line and i'll appreciate it.
Vidar Eggum: Thank you, so very much! Now my tablet is in perfect working order again,

and Take it Out !!! Make Sure you have Disconnected The Ribbon Cable First.
Alex Gatambiye: +LE55ONS I am having an issue with my sim card. When I put it in, after few
minutes, I have the message "re innsert sim card" starting to flicker
quickly, and it requires me to restart my tablet, but the message still
pops up. What do you suggest I do in this case? Is it a software issue, or
some form of H/W contact problem? Please assist

Abz yeh: Hi. I have a problem with my Galaxy Note 10.1
The screen colours have gone all weird. Greenish purple. And it keeps
flickering. The resolution has gone really rubbish too. Mostly weird colour
and flickering though.
It did drop before it happened and the earphones jack was in at the time.
Wasn't a big drop. Just from bed to carpet. So im not sure if thats what
caused it. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? I've seen other
people mentione the lcd flex cable? Or graphic module? Any help would be
much appreciated. Thanks
reyesfd46: One of the best tutorial videos.☆☆☆☆☆
Thank you, it was easy to do it myself.
dafeichu: Excellent and thorough video. I wish I had more parts to replace but alas
it was only the glass/digitizer.
I was able to replace it doing the following:
1) Take off the metal strip on the back
2) Remove the three screws and remove the back cover
3) Remove the battery connector
4) Release the digitizer connector
5) Remove the glass from the silver bezel
6) Replace with new glass/digitizer into the bezel
7) Install the bezel with glass onto the rest of the unit
I did all this while watching this video. Without it I would have been
Thanks for the video LE55ONS.
kent bartley: Question before i get too far... like alot of people here I dropped my
tablet, and now all i get on the screen is a really low dim purple color
from the bottom of the screen. The power is on and volume sounds work,
screen just wont work. I did remove and reseat the display flex like shown
at time 8:43 but its the same.
should i replace just the digitizer screen or the display too? Im
confused because the digitizer just looks like clear glass and my glass
isnt cracked at all.
Kesh TubeHD: How abou samsung galaxy note 10.1 sound repair
James Thompson: I got an lcd to replace on a n8013, when it arrived it came with a separate
pen digitizer that is usually integrated with the lcd. Question: does this
pen digitizer just lay on the backside of the lcd ?
akshay.saini: Excellent. Thank you for such a detailed video. I have an ant which is
squashed between the LCD screen and the digitizer. Though there is no
functionality loss, it definitely is a big eye sore sitting in the middle
of the screen, especially when viewing a white background page on the
screen. Do I need to open up everything as per the video or is there an
easier way to just suck the dead ant out from between the two layers?
Thanks, help much appreciated. Device is GT-N8000
Barbara Schranz: Great tutorial where can you get new lcd replacement and new power

ChasPPerth: Hi and thank you for this excellent tutorial. Very clear, concise and
informative. 10/10 (How can anyone give this a thumbs down?). The video
cable connector on my granddaughters tablet was not correctly seated
causing severe video breakup. Using this tutorial as a guide, successfully
disassembled to re-seat the connector and re-assemble without damage. My
granddaughter (4) is now ecstatic to have her tablet working again.
