Istvan Kemény: Sorry; that's too complicated. Loads of sw/fw should be installed everywhere for nothing. KitKat would be more sofisticated than JB? Wouldn't there be an easier way?

Pizzaschnitzer: Very Great! Worked on my 4.1.2 XT910 with installed su but without root rights. thanks to you a lot!
nwilliams2001: Hi It worked eventually thanks.. I got confused at the remote storage stage because I was inputting my pc ip address. The address and details appear in the virtual box. If it does not, close the box an reopen it until an ip address appears - then follow the video. Thanks again from the UK,
Marco “detfygvh” fgvgju: When I add the storage I must put my HOST IP address and all my details, not these in the video?
GhostMS CC Clasher: "Network Error There is a problem in your network connection with remote host. Please repair your network connection and try again." every time all the time.. should tell or make tut cause after searching i noticed im not the only one and no one is really telling how to fix it.

Martin Leggewie: Thanks for video! Your procedure worked fine on my XT910 with a German Android 4.1.2 (to be honest, I was sceptical at first if this could work ... but it did, and now you have a new fan :-) Regards from Germany.
Sergio Le Roux: Will this work with VMWare Workstation as well? I prefer VirtualBox but my office box already has that one installed and I'd rather not have both.
Valentina Atanassova: worked for me:) thanks
ExoticBoy Alanya: Worked perfectly, after being connected to the same router. I was trying through connectify hotspot, but then i didnt get and IP for host. Now i changed to router(only 1 device able to log on to internet because cheap wifi system), and the i got the IP and logged on, after rooting i was able to get that annoying pincode of my phone with ADB shell without restoring the phone (Razr xt910 JB4.x) . So all my apps and data were saved. Made me very happy, thanks! Glad i was smart enough to get this worked out!
Bertha Mira: Uhh...your tutorial is great but there is no option for "remote storage" on my phone. I guess I will have to find another way to do it. I have an XT912 BTW.
