SuperControlRoom: @BloodNinja7 not to be offensive, but some ofus don't know what a linear actuator was. I was looking for a sort of lego hydraulic, i s going to use syringes but this looks better
AKS: 2 minutes of something going up and down? Wow, fun.
7249xxl: @Conchinhas your gears can get broken if you have that and the xxl electrick engine to i had that to
Marc Irwin: Lego need a way to bracket together multiple linear actuators, they have a part like that for the pneumatics.

MONTYthePYTHON: @lotusiotus thats what i would have said, except for the fact that he's demonstrating how it can be done electrically....
think about the point of the video first.
if the video was about the truck, i would have said to use pneumatics, but its not about the truck.
TechnicBRICKs: In this case, they could get damaged, because of excessive torque.
The Linear Actuators also have an internal clutch mechanism (that also clicks) to avoid high torque situations, but in this case the limits are reached before at the external gears.
TaylorI: is that a safety feature or are you damaging the gears when it clicks?
no the clicking sound you hear, are the small external gears slipping at situations where torque is too high.
npnpnp: Is that clicking the actuators clutch slipping?
TechnicBRICKs: Yes I noticed, but the purpose was just to show the working principle and applicability at TechnicBRICKs.
I didn't want to make it even larger for this goal.
Anyway you are right if for a more definitive application.
Alex Yuan: youve got some stall
try to get the ratio higher
anyway, nice work!
