mangojulie123: The BLU phones have TWO variations. One for the US and one for Europe/International. So this change to the setting will only work if you are using the US variant in the US or the Global phone outside the US. However, if you try to do this with the US version in Europe or the European version in the US ... IT WILL NOT WORK.
The reason is that the 3G band in the US runs on the 1900MHz band. And outside of the USA, you get 3G on the 2100MHz band. These are HARDWARE differences in the BLU phone versions. So a software change alone will not do the trick. You have t have the correct BLU phone for your region.
