PhazedArts: I connected it all up and it works. But the game sound if really really low
and can't hear anything properly. You know what the issue might be?
OnuDragonsDen: Thanks for the tip Roberto
OnuDragonsDen: Yes it works fine, if you have this particular headset you can change the
set sound by pressing the right button in the headset
Cassidy Bennett: my volume is absoluetly low
OnuDragonsDen: Yes it comes with this brand controller but its to short for our needs
Daniel martinez: soo you connect the usb to the ps4 and the jack to the controller??
MrLegendStriker: my Sound laggs all the time... what am i doing wrong?
OnuDragonsDen: The cable that you put on you controller is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack
cord that you can get at a dollar store. Make sure is long enough
OnuDragonsDen: Yes it work but only on one volume setting
Peacock: The sound isn't as great as I would like it to be :-/ Also when I try to
turn turn up the sound using my headset a message saying my microphone as
been disconnected which fixes when I stop pushing the volume up button.
kroften morse: I did it but I cant turn up my headset volume and it keeps cutting out
OnuDragonsDen: Yes until they get an update that bluetooth works you have to be connected
to the controller
miklepikxd: The sound is working but i cant chat with my px3 when i plug the 3.5 mm on
my controller do uu know why?
G B: OMG you voice inflections are sooooo annoying.
OnuDragonsDen: Just making sure. Is your mic mute switch is turned off right? Tge switch
thats on thr side of the headset? Also I have a mic and heaset that came
from my samsung galaxy s4 that came from my phone and im using now as the
mic is really good
GameCheatTutorial101: That's so dumb, I connect jack cable to my tv and to reciever. While
reciever is connected to usb in ps4 and it works all good. I can hear game
and chat :)
Instead of AUX I'm using game port
Jared McClelland: So to use it with your PS4 uou have to always have the box thing connected
to the controller?
LegitMamba24: Did you have to buy the chord that went into your controller separately or
did it come with the headset?
OnuDragonsDen: German rocket you dont have to connect the cables to the tv, just connect
px3 to usb ps3 and use the aux jack to connect to the ps4 controller via
audio 3.5 mm socket thats it.
James Holden: What the freak is up with his voice
anthonywalkerc89: How do I get the volume louder
Alex Vasquez: Does your sound randomly cut off in game?
John G: ur a freaking annoying dork!
sam bam: thank you guy got exactly the same headset and now the sounds works but
it's not very loud and i cant use chat, do u got any idea to solve these
FourLionsFan: does anyone now how to chat on ps4 with old heaset
Runehell99: I at first just wanted to know how you did this with a px3 headset, then I
realized I could do this on the ps3 so I can record with my elgato, THANKS
GermanRocket7: Okay, so I got this headset, but for whatever reason, it appears as if my
microphone does not work at all in party chat or in-game chat. I can send
audio msgs without any problem, whatsoever.
Here's my setup:
PX3's transmitter is connected to the PS4 via USB.
PX3's transmitter is connected to the TV (Samsung) via the RCA Splitter
Cable (GAME slot on the transmitter, Audio out on the TV).
Once Transmitter and Headset are paired, I put in a cable with 3,5mm 4-pole
into the headset-slot on my PS4 controller and the other end (a converter
to 2,5mm 3-pole) into the PX3 itself.
Now, I can perfectly hear the general audio from the PS4 and even regular
in-game sound such as in BF4 or NBA 2K14. However, I do not hear any other
player with a headset, neither in-game nor in a party chat. Furthermore,
these players can not hear me as well.
I also used the standard options on the PS4 (Primary Output: HDMI Out,
Output to Headphones: Chat Audio, Audio Format (Priority): Linear PCM, and
yes, my transmitter is set to either PS3 or Xbox 360 modes - none of these
work at all.
Any idea where the problem is and how to fix it?
INSIDIOUS STEVE: Now this turns your wireless controller into a wired controller.
Holey Ravioli: hay also if you have a tv that outputs aux sound what you can do is plug
one end of that auxiliary cord to your tv and one end to the px3
transmitter so that it can be wireless instead
ByLetaa: the cord that goes into the controller doesnt come with it does it
Riften Guard: Thanks, this was a real help an saved me a lot of money :)
MrTomkat030: Hmm weird so does the headset work fine? Is the audio just like it was
orrr??? Very cool cause i dont wanna buy another headset just for this
adam bridgman: I've just bought these off eBay do they work properly or is this a bodge
XxDrPrOxX: I didn't get, from where did u get the cord that you put it in your
Jeremy coopwood: Does it matter what setting between pc and xbox360
LegitCraftable: Finally after a year!!
Clayton Adams: I cant get the chat to work on my px3s
James Holden: What the freak is up with bus voice
domo2603: Genuine question. Are you mentally disabled or do you have some form of a
speech impediment or are you schizophrenic?
kazzii13: It works but ,my sound keeps getting cut off..why is that??
ryan0wnzu: I found it impossible to listen to your awful overly-enthusiastic voice for
over 10 seconds at a time.
Conewood WR: OMG I had a random cord thing like yours lying around and it worked!
K1NDER2: Good job lol
OnuDragonsDen: Your welcome Riften
OnuDragonsDen: Also make sure the USB is connected to the ps4 and have the box switch to
the ps3 mode. Don't put it on Xbox or pc
OnuDragonsDen: Volume will be low because its not the ps4 headset but chat does work just
make sure you have the chat not muted on your headset and put hold the ps
button and adjust device and put all audio on.
