german gallardini: Well I wouldn't give my recipes either. Is what makes YOU unique! TOP SECRET lol
Audra S: Sorry you felt that way. I am not the only one who has this opnion. I was told to make that comment from one of my instructors. Hope you have a great day! :)
Jeanelly Molina: i find it pretty stupid when you are giving a tutorial on a cupcake and you wont give the recipe on the actual cake,,,, its not like they are going to give you any kind of competition or anything, that should actually be a compliment to you wen someone asks for your recepe, anywho waste of a view......
paperbaginthe60s: The flat tops come from the chemistry of your ingredients. Too much or too little baking powder affects it, too. See "Cake Bible" by Rose Levy Beranbaum-- she breaks everything down to a science. Great ideas for the cupcakes, nonetheless! Going to make them for a party, too!
Audra S: Most recipes of mine I will share but I cannot share this one. I was thinking and another way you may be able to get the flat top is the amount of batter. When you fill the cupcake liners with batter, fill them a little less then you normally would. Try baking one with the reduced batter first so you do not have an entire tray of mess ups if it doesn't work. Hope it works :)
tubercdz: hi, may i know what the recipe for the cupcakes are so that they have flat tops? Thank you, I look forward to making these for my class.
Audra S: Glad you liked them! I thought the fondant ones were too hard for the time I had. Sometimes easy is just as nice :)
Audra S: These cupcake tops are flat because of the recipe and the amount of baking soda in it. :)
Audra S: Too funny! :)
Tina Madayag: how did you get the top of the cupcakes flat?
Wifeytyp: When ur phone went off I thought it was mine getting a text lol... great vid!!!
Melissa Krystal: Thanks so much for sharing !!!!!!! i couldnt do the minnie fondant cupcakes way to hard
dosxdos4: I REALLY LIKE IT!
Amber Campbell: do you know which recipes you mixed???
Audra S: I do not have it on me at the moment. It is Paula Dean's recipe and I'm sure you can google it. I do tweek the recipe a little in that I add almost twice the powdered sugar in order for it to stand and not melt off of the cupcake. :)
Audra S: Wilton 2D
r3m3dichick: which nozzle did you use?
Arielle Vanilla: Can u pls do a receipe on the buttercream? Thanks!
Cert: Building stuff is always in my family gene. My dad is a new york auto technician and taught me everything I need to know about cars. Now I sell car parts online to suppliment my income. So it does help when there's good guidance.
