Jeanelly Molina: i find it pretty stupid when you are giving a tutorial on a cupcake and you wont give the recipe on the actual cake,,,, its not like they are going to give you any kind of competition or anything, that should actually be a compliment to you wen someone asks for your recepe, anywho waste of a view......
paperbaginthe60s: The flat tops come from the chemistry of your ingredients. Too much or too little baking powder affects it, too. See "Cake Bible" by Rose Levy Beranbaum-- she breaks everything down to a science. Great ideas for the cupcakes, nonetheless! Going to make them for a party, too!
Audra S: Most recipes of mine I will share but I cannot share this one. I was thinking and another way you may be able to get the flat top is the amount of batter. When you fill the cupcake liners with batter, fill them a little less then you normally would. Try baking one with the reduced batter first so you do not have an entire tray of mess ups if it doesn't work. Hope it works :)

Audra S: I do not have it on me at the moment. It is Paula Dean's recipe and I'm sure you can google it. I do tweek the recipe a little in that I add almost twice the powdered sugar in order for it to stand and not melt off of the cupcake. :)
