to snap with use. Hope this helps
SuperBeastboy1000: hey do u thank u can mak lik a hat or mask out of the not tieing]
Huningha: Where do you buy side release buckles? I can order them online, but that
takes time and costs more money. Are there any craft stores like hobby
lobby or michael's that sells them?
EERNDOG RUFF: GOOD crap,,, RIGHT TO THE POINT,,,,
B. Brown: Nice seen this went to amazon and ordered his book 13 bucks plus free
shipping, grew up with a macrame maker in the family, always fascinated me
with all the knots he knew and how he made things from them. everything
from the typical wall tapestries to hanging flower pots and more. Oh yea he
thumped me real good one time with a monkey fist made from leather lace,
and steel ball bearing but never would show me how to make one cause he
thought i would pay him back.
Mister Porter: Made my first one yesterday thanks to your video.. amazing how easy it is.
Thank you for posting this
TyingItAllTogether: @tarquinbine - In all truth... I don't know. The buckle used in the video
was pulled off an old bag of mine. I've yet to purchase side release
buckles myself. That said, I'd go with whatever Stormdrane (user name)
recomends. Otherwise I'd simply search the web and try out a few buckle
types out. Or you could visit a fabric or craft store and see if you like
the ones sold there (I've even seen them sold at hardware stores).
TerriHogan1: 4ft, wow.. well I guess its better to have extra than not enough??
Carlee Bow: I love this one and is perfect for making a dog collar but I can't figure
out how to attach a 1" D ring. Would you ease make a tutorial with this
exact weave but just attaching a D ring? Thank you.
Matthew Brooks: Just finished mine it's pretty awesome
Alex Melendez: If you were to make a size 31 belt in this design, how much cord would be
craftsman4746: How would I go about making it with two different colors? Like u would with
a two colored bracelet?
okieheadhunter: very nice
jungleislandsurvivor: Great instructions, my watch band came out a 1/4" short, too tight, will

1loobie: Great description, you nailed it. Just saw another video that left me more
confused. I'm going to give it a shot but with a little different spin on
yarnsrj: My friend, Your videos are the some of the easiest to follow. Good work and
thanks for sharing with us.
WntBorn: How do you measure how much cord you need? for example if i want a 8" band,
how many feet of cord should I use?
dawson freibert: you could do it with 4 or even 6
SoleSkater1999: where do you get your paracord?
Greg S: Nice Thanks
Thor Fisher: Try military surplus stores, they have cord but their buckles arent cheap.
THISisKROD13: a lot
James Walker: What size buckle did you use?
jaypunishment26: can i buy one
marine0511: JD, I've been making a few of your bracelets and I really love to use a
loop and a lanyard knot to secure the strap. I was wondering if you knew of
a way to do that with the wide Solomon bar?
DanceFiendStrapS: @TyingItAllTogether how many mm is the buckle?
Robert Yuan: Buckles?
Samantha Wammes: what kind of buckle did you use JD?
Epinephrine818: Looks like its time to make myself a new survival bracelet .. Once again
ThePopeAndy: Thanks JD ;) Will post a vid when I'm finished with mine will primarily use
this knot and some variations. I've been making a lot of the knots you have
been showing on your youtube videos and all who have been seeing them were
really impressed and I told them about your channel. Lots of people are
becoming interested in this sort of thing now it's fun and inexpensive and
has much utility ;)
estong1121: i think there must be a code, like, L1- right up- left-down- R1- right
down- left up.....
Frankie Boy: Great job on the video, your work is always an inspiration. Thanks.
BradVarnum: can this be made with knot and loop style clasp?
alex61761: @Huningha i use rei, they've always got a good selection of buckles
doctragoz: @Huningha -- Yes hobby lobby and michaels carries buckles, at least here in
central Pennsylvania they do... Also check out the camping section in
WalMart, they sell straps for a dollar that you can easily cut out the
strap and use the buckle. Also, if you are a lady or have a lady friend,
ask if they have any old 'bags' or satchels that use straps that might have
a buckle. I have 3 kids and got lucky when we were about to discard the old
bookbags, there were about 3 buckles on each I salvaged
DocRorshack: @TyingItAllTogether trying to comment with side release buckle site but
