KCTnD: Dude, you are awesome! Hope you are making stacks of $$$ from the Tube!
You have given me some GREAT pointers.
Matt Joines: My grandpa has an 80s ranger that I think the head gasket is blown on. It
smokes out of tail pipe real bad. I was thinking about buying for around
300. Would it be a waste of money if the head gasket was blown?
Michael Butler: Can I just throw the liquid down the drain when I am done with it?
SkinnyFatBoyzz: love his energy
Falcedon: Hey Scotty I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu 3.1 v6 (famous for head gasket
problems) and I've noticed some problems. My coolant reservoir has a white
creamy gunk on the cap and inside the rim of the reservoir and there's a
leak under my manifold. Does this sound like a blown head gasket? My dad
has been a mechanic for over 20 years and he won't believe its a head
cannabean5: I do not have an overheating problem or any sign of oil in antifreeze or
water in the oil. I'm thinking of using this test because I cant figure out
what's going on. I have a new radiator cap 16 lbs (stock correct) but water
trys to surpass it and the upper hose swells or has a lot of pressure. Any
ideas? 2002 Chrysler Town and country 3.8l.
MysteryWolph: I was skeptical about this stuff. I'm hearing more and more good things
about it. I blew a head gasket in my 94 Explorer (4.0 OHV V6). I sent it to
the shop, since the oil is milkshaked and I assumed it was too far gone for
a sealer to fix. Maybe I was wrong.
Randall Cheney: Hey, would this test come back positive if the intake manifold gasket was
john hill: If theres a bad head gaskit doesn't water get into the oil also n turn,it a
grey color?? I was in il. a few months ago ,stopped at a shop off the
highway a guy did this test n said I had a blown headgaskit the car was
fine just ran it too hard I think its running fine
Keelan Kennedy: how has this guy not got his own tv show??
phenobarbitalmv75: I have a 2002 Chevy malibu and the gasket is blown ....if I would take it
to a mechanic..do anyone knows the price tag to repair it?
Geisy Delgado: Hey scotty, I have a 2003 silverado 5.3
The truck is leaking alot of motor oil. I don't know where the leak is
coming from. It looks like it's coming from near the heads/block on the
right side. The left side looks clean, only the right is a mess oil
everywhere. Could you tell me where the leak could possibly be coming from?
Sami Hamid: Hey Scotty, have a 95 Civic EX here. After various overheating issues I
have replaced nearly everything involving the cooling system (cost me
little to nothing in money so not a major loss). New OEM rad cap, upper and
lower rad hoses, OEM thermostat (there wasn't one originally in the engine
when i first bought it HA) and new overflow bottle. slowing running out of
option as to why im overheating.
most of the time the needle goes up only in traffic after a while, so i
wanna point towards the fan. but the fan turns on when the needle rises up
a little (like midway), and then it drops back down to normal. also the
overflow bottle gets past the max line alot and the rad is almost bone dry
sometimes when i go to check the next day. so i cant believe that its only
a fan issue. ive bled the system several times, and for the most part the
car doesn't overheat much but after past experiences its a little
concerning to see that temp needle go up past normal.
DaFiyaManDrew: My car is blowing white smoke heavily from the exhaust and it doesn't smell
sweet. It strongly smells like gas. I believe it's my head gasket and it
might be causing a misfire. I got OBD code : P0007 (V6 3L)
Munky332: assuming this kit doesnt work on a diesel?
josh tattrie: Lol. I have watched a ton of your videos. Your work on a lot of Toyotas! I
would swear you worked at a Toyota dealership. Basically one in every
video. Your good, I work at a Toyota dealership as a tech, not many guys
like you out there with common sense. Keep up the good work!
I had an unfortunate incident yesterday with my 2007 Escalade. It was
driving fine and once I parked it, it started blowing off White steam (or
smoke?) and some scorching smell along with some fluid, which exploded all
over., I check the engine bay and a heater hose (the left one with the
Black fitter connector) was broken, After an hour, I started to drive it in
the parking lot again, and I got the "Engine Hot Turn A/C Off" message and
more smoke came out. I had to tow it to a near shop. I hope I didn't do any
damage. My question is, I had no warning messages or reduce engine power
while I was driving to my destination. It all happen after I parked. Do you
think I could had blown the head gasket? Thanks in advance!!
Michael Gutierrez: I've been running my 97zj jeep for almost a year. (5.2 magnum) and have no
problems other then dirty coolent o flush it once a month and use straight
Radoslaw Jocz: hello sometimes is also useful to check the compression in all cylinders to
check if gasket is ok or not
Edward Crowder: Scotty, I have a 2001 Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 engine. It is currently
flashing the SES light and giving me a P0300 code. After checking the spark
plugs I found this one (
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sgg616ms61ayil2/20141115_151522.jpg?dl=0 ) with
oil on it and none of the others did. Could this be the result of a head
gasket gone bad?
lem9561: Hey scotty when i performed this test on my 1993 nissan 240sx the liquid
turned green. What does that mean?
Tomlin James: or since its a Toyota you should just go head at 100,000 miles and replace
them since that is usually when they fail.
Petey Pablo: Mr. Kilmer, would you say a car losing coolant is a bad head gasket? i see
water dripping out the exhaust pipe and the water feels cold but i'm not
sure if it's actually coolant or not.
Railbox200: how accurate are these test?
Luis IBAL: Where can i get this test kit
chevyfan999: Trying to figure out if I have a blown head gasket keep getting different
answers the engine sounds fine and it's not overheating but there's oil
around the oil cap and it's losing coolant but guy says I need a new water
pump that it's not a gasket one guy says it is Idk it is a old car and took
good care of it if this car goes Idk what to do
Marco C.: Scotty, so i bought one of these and tested it, let the car run for about 2
minutes, and it turned blue-green (more blue than green), and its on a
gasoline car. Does that mean i have a small leak?
David Mootoo: Hi, I have a 1998 Plymouth Neon 2.0L DOHC (thank you for your sympathy) and
my diagnostic said "Cylinder 1 misfire" and the car does not smoke in any
way at all. I tried doing the steps in your video, but I was unable to
change the coils because of the way the system is made up. Also, just like
in the video, the 1st spark plug is really bad, but the rest of them are in
relatively good condition. Any suggestions on how to proceed? I live in the
Caribbean and my specimen is a left hand drive bone-stock configuration
originally from Canada (if that helps). Thanks...
Alex Chevez: Scotty please help me I want to know how to calibrate. The valves in my
chevy astro 2000 4.3 vortex engine because have some noise at the passenger
side the sound is like if two peaces of metal hitting. Each other. Sound
it's not. Too loud
Sean Gomez: Hi I have a 1997 cadillac catera and it blows out alot of smoke out of the
exhaust. People tell me it needs head repair but i dont know. the car runs
great except when it starts heating up it blows alot of smoke everytime i
accelerate. When i dont accelerate its still blows smoke but less than when
i accelerate. when its cold theres no smoke. What should i do?
Bruno Erick Gomez: Hey I have a Honda civic that I bought all ready with the engine light on
til today that they stole the battery of it I got another one used and
started the car it ran as it always do til later on the day the engine
light started Blinking and it felt like the car was losing power when I was
in a red light so could it be the used battery or wats youropinion?
Maikel Barreto Olavarrieta: Where can i find that tester?????
ksktrash: Awesome. Thanks a lot. Cheers
Chunky Father: The way you stage your videos is awesome. You just don't talk bah bah bah
you mix it up, keeping it entertaining. Thanks for your videos.
Enrique Gonzalez: I have a Nissan sentra 2001 gx. engine sound grate but wen I am driving
the nging make a chaiking sound like the the metal thins that hold the
engine are wern out but not sure
Jackie Lee: You are a hero..!!
I have Subaru forester 2000, at the moment the engine is overheating and no
hot air come from the fan. thermostat was replaced to new one, but it has
still same symptom.
In this case, is it obviously the problem of blown head gasket? cheers

Luis Cruz: you the man Scotty.
Amber Mills: What causes coolant to leak out exhaust flange?
E. M. Torres: where do you buy this kits?
Zach Pascoe: Scotty I've got a question for you. I have oil in my radiator so i assumed
a blown head gasket and bought one testers. I performed the test twice and
each time was a negative. Is it possible if the leak is small enough this
test can miss it or can something else cause oil in the radiator?
crackermoves: Scotty HELP!! I have a 2000 Chevy Astro van 4.6 Vortec and there is a
little coolant getting into the oil ( Not much) however there are no signs
of a blow head gasket.. It runs perfect and never overheats.. Whats going
on and is coolant squeaking in from the intake manifold to the oil
perhaps???? Help help!!
Rick D: If the head gasket is blown will white smoke come out of the exhaust ? And
can oil leak out from the head gasket ? My friend says the dealer is going
to charge him 1260.00$ But what are the signs of a blown head gasket ! His
2004 Corolla only has 143,000kms
Mickey Bauer: Scotty can i use this test on an engine that only cranks but wont start? If
not what would be the appropriate test for it?
Andy Gulliver: Ford Focus Ghia 02 - temperature gauge permanently off the dial! Not even
drove it 2 miles - head gasket? Mechanic suggest that as all the coolant,
pipes and engine sounds smooth including oil levels that its the sensor
after engine steam cleaned?
