Stock Vs Aftermarket Speakers | AnthonyJ350

What do you think about this video?

KO GOAT: What a convenient video. We just happen to have the same car!!!

MrRoadRage: again another video that didn't show the different why make a video about speakers and not have a clip of them playing music or something how do I know what im buying ffs

Steven c: Do I need a amp now because my stock speaker was 15 watts now my new are 30watts

Hal: The problem with better quality aftermarket speakers is they tend to be bulkier and it can lead to clearance problems when you roll down the window

Todd Christ: just upgraded to Pioneer A-Series in my doors - amazing! https://2017-ford-raptor.blogspot.com/2018/04/dynamat-and-pioneer-6x9-upgrades-in.html

Michael Harris: I have a question. My truck has factory tweeters mounted above the dash on the pillars, my door speakers all need replaced. Should I go with a 2 way even though I have tweeters on the dash? Or should I just go with a mid range? And what's recommended for the rear doors? I don't have an amp or subwoofer, but might add a single sub eventually. Thanks!

thehegt Tr: how much for that woofer and tweeter cost ? is it hard to install ? do Best Buy install it for Free ?

Greg: I've heard some stock speakers that sound great then there was the Cavalier that sounded like a Gameboy speaker in a tin can

Killa Bee: big magnet means nothing. its how strong the magnet is.

James Tyler: upgraded my speakers from stock to some jbl's and the sound improved dramatically. so im not sure why some people say you won't get any improvement in sound. thats not true. even a cheap $29 speaker will sound way better than any stock speaker.

auto body tech for life: i would say aftermarket speakers

100mpgus: you picked up the speaker from the tweeter? that's not a speaker handle. I cannot even watch the rest of the video.

Thomas James: I watched the video and before I saw it was going to go for the two way speakers but I was wondering what is the woofer and crossover name like what would I look up for speakers for a type that you showed for a third speaker because that is more a positive to me then a 2 way because of what you stated being the signer in front of you then to your knees. I did some research on speakers but this is by far the most in depth I've gotten. I want the best sound quality I can get but I got confused on the third selection.

Reaper: A 2007 Honda Civic FN/FK is quipped with a component speakers and they actually sound pretty damn good

Doamino41: Now a days you need a door speaker mounting bracket for after market speakers but they are incredibly hard to find. Why is that? I want to upgrade my stereo system on my 2014 Nissan Sentra soon and that is one thing I will need. So many stores will sell car speakers but not mounting brackets.

DapimpBDSD: when replacing factory speakers but keeping factory headunit, do you recommend just cutting the factory wires at the speakers and crimping new connectors? did this a few years ago and the sound volume dropped , may be that the speakers required more power than the HU put out but not sure.

shans17833: dear i have a 2013 altima base model with 2 door speakers , i want to fix 2 6x9 speakers in the rear, i bought with 440 watts 80 w 4 ohms a mechanic told me it will not sound good in stock stereo, because it is only low poweri have to fix an amplifier , or else i have to buy 220 watts 2 ohms speakers ,, what i will do

MasA: Even the cheapest aftermarkets will be a huge upgrade from stock.
Boxing day I got 2 pairs of Hertz x165 6.5" (reg. $99/pair) and so far installed only the fronts and already has almost double the power of stock.

My car is a 2003 Subaru, which already has a slightly better stock sound system. Definitely worth it.

LetsGo Now: Hmm looks like stock speakers have got a little better over the $15 paper ones. People would pay for the prem sound and would still get paper speakers just a fac ampl. Im sure car manuf made a killing of this.
