Craven Greene: Dude, no offense, but your safety briefing sounded more like a gun-control lobbyist than an American patriot. Unless one is a thug crack dealer, if one owns firearms, one would assumedly have enough sense not to cut off their finger on a job saw.... just sayin'... Well outside West Virginia anyway....
eric12137: great idea dude!!!!
Ratdog 305: It don't have to be pretty, it just has to work! Now if you want to really make it cool, make a crank handle for the jack, it will go up and down a lot faster and easier.
Gabriel DeStellano: NICE! Pulling that old scissor lift out tomorrow and definitely doing this... cheers!
Hansel Perez: Other than u wearing gloves with power tools your a genius lol I had the idea of the sock and rice, glad you did too so I could see what it would turn out like. The jack for the adjustable rest is pure brainology =)
Sam G: Good stuff, Like I say primitive but very effective, leave out the cosmetic bullcrap and make it for durability and design not for show. And yours is rock solid, nice job, very creative. Made in America by Americans
Robert Barbour: used a 3" piece of pvc pipe. I heated it up and flatten it out, drilled a center hole. put it on the jack and heated the center, put both ends at about 45 degress. Put my rice sock on it. Have not finished it but I might make both jacks into one piece. I will upgrade it as time goes on. Any ideas you can give me will be a big help.
Robert Barbour: A great idea that would save a person about $40.00. I just got a gun rest at auction for $7.50 which was a rare find. Your idea is great when the mony is not there.
Robert Barbour: a velcrow pad under he sock would work.
acid1357: thanks for your video, makes sighting my rifle so much easier. thumbs up for you
Robert Keene: lol, that is the best one ive seen yet
mark phillips: Very clever cheap and a sound job .maybe make the base and.top bigger for stability but all good otherwise like a lot
Kine Vision: Do not wear gloves when using your table saw, actually u should take everything off your hands including rings!
timothy mcswain: Great idea, I just so happen to have a scissor jack laying around.
crusader68: That's a great obama rigged solution. I wish I took everything out of my previous car when it got totaled....didn't think about those ghetto car jacks would come in handy one day for something else.
1digitalwatcher:5:31 love the idea with the rice !
CastleDoctrine87: Very clever! I've been looking for weeks on what I could use. I just so happen to have one of these laying around.
-T-X-M-: Kewl...not eye candy but does the job
NubbyTV101: Pmsl. Why???
Robert Bowen: fantastic, even I can make one following the instructions on your video
EMT: Thanks! They sometimes skip corners and take the easy way. If they ever did that, I suggest you consult with a paralegal or lawyer. This way they won't be able to cheat you.
