Russell Kasprzyk: Can u hook it up to a 24 v system?
steven norsworthy: dude that's pretty sweet
Jacob Affleck: You turn that adjustable wrench like a frenchman
solarson53: to anyone interested in electric canoes and trolling motors - I've got a Yahoo Group site called LittleSolarBoats. We've got 15 members with pics posted and lots of info. I'm putting together a 16 foot canoe with Only solar panels running the 30 lb motors. Some members have a small panel to help recharge the battery while they are fishing. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/LittleSolarBoats/conversations/messages
unstrung13: BWA HAHA! i was about to comment on the awesome job turning a simple canoe into a fine stable lil fishing boat, then i tumbled into the last part where you have the funny voice and the dog! literally laughing out loud! great stuff man! i subscribed!
bigcatfishin: ITS MADE OF 4 INCH P.E PIPE WITH COKE BOTTLES STUCK IN THE ENDS -THERE IS A VIDEO ON OUR CHANNEL HOW TO MAKE IT
Jim Pavwoski: What did u make your stabilizer out of..?? Lemme know please.
GandalfPCT2013: Depends on the State your in. In Washington you don't need to license a boat or canoe that is under 16' "and" has less than a 10hp motor.
Paulpro PP: put two trolling motors on it,really makes a difference in acc,and top end speed!I want to both my 1.75hp motors on it :P
survival123able: Cool thanks
bigcatfishin: yea i did that with my plastic coleman too-but with fiberglass the canoe is too thin skined and would crack in sure
bigcatfishin: with a motor -yes need register
survival123able: Did you have to register I've heard yes and no?
Paulpro PP: Another great way to mount the motor is directly to the side of the haul
Check out my 17' canoe, type "bow mount canoe" dats my red canoe "Coleman"
I just add a piece of 1/4" ply on each side of the haul where the motor mounts
cheeper! and you don't have to drill into the haul!
winsor68: Crikey! Get a work bench! Gonna cut your hand orf!!! lol Thanks for the great idea. (canoe I mean not cutting hand off).
bigcatfishin: its 17 feet long -holds 350 pounds easy-cheap and fun too
robert lombardo: Hi never did the boating thing looks fun. How long is the canoe. And do they have weight limits. I'm 200 less any gear. Thanks
bigcatfishin: thanks for the comment ...It works pretty good and I bet you can find the stuff to make it for free with a little lookin around... I love the electric motor on the canoe its just a 30 pound thurst but it pushes it along well and goes about 3 or 4 miles with a heavy duty car batterie
Peter Ratz: GREAT JOB MY FRIEND. lIKE YOUR COMMENTS TOO. YOU ARE A GOOD TEACHER !
costin iulian p: i think ill make one for myself
