John Beck: Can you use two of these flashes together? For example, one on the camera and one off as a slave?
Victor Rivera: great video. I came across your video about the yongnuo 565ex, which I have, and never realized I could fire it without triggers. .nice. It works perfect because I tried it after watching the video. I purchased the 568ex model because it had hss. should work nicely with my nikon d7000.
Shaun Go: Has anyone tried to get service on the Yongnuo? I get that they have no place to send defective units to a US location. You have to send it to China, and pay BOTH way. No way I would spend some $80 or so, for what may be a $70 unit. I bought a YN560 iii, only 2 months, at 1/16th or less power! Less than 5 sessions. Already broke (in the middle of a shoot!). Now it wont flash other than at full power, a common happening. Essentially useless. For covering events, I need something with quick recycling time.
Having to send the units to China, what they are saying is the their flash has NO WARRANTY. They offer the warranty just for legal reasons I guess.
I am looking at my trusy Vivitar 285. Yeah, she is ugly, rattles, no fancy digital buttons. But she works. I really feel that by going with the Yongnuo flash, I left a good women for a cheap hooker who just left and took my money.
