Jeremiah Johnson: I can only imagine up close this doesn't look so good
darknature79: I love my iwata supernovas takes about half the air pressure as most guns
and hardly no over spray on adjacent panels i couldnt imagine blowing
around as much air as what a see on these vids.
Archie Megel: Great work ! Looks amazing
Steve Scarborough: Jimmo can paint anything. Is there a paint gun system that you would
recommend for a beginner? Also wonder if you might have any DVD's that
would cover preparing a car for paint all the way through the clear coat?
Thanks for another great video.
Jamal Al-Masri: Great job! I am impressed with this sprayer and the skills, thanks.
werdisitcooltho: I can't ever spray clear without it looking like crap or even stingless
stage paint. Always has freak load of orange peel or I get it to wet and run
FailMail89: I didnt like the accuspray for spraying primer filler. The tips were
supposed to be reusable thats what the 3M guy told us yet after 3-4 uses it
didnt work properly. Went back to my trusty oldschool Sata KLC :D
1982Celestyn: A efekt lala...Plastik 3M to rewelacja.
larryelcamino: so far, no 1.3 or 1.4 tips yet. I'm patiently waiting.
danny lopez: 1.4 tips are available at EBAY!! Their good for base coat and clears!!
Bruni: Hey, I tried painting a body panel on my truck, it cam out rough and not
smooth, I am guessing that is because I didn't have my gun set right.
Should I just sand it down, or scuff it and re paint over it?
bfotch: Great videos, i was wondering where do you learn to do this kind of work? I
did automotive for a year in college (not my kind of job im looking for)
and maybe i would like to do somethin like this. Thanks!
Refinish Network: @XxJhate Yes, thats what the new tips are designed for.
svt20009: @jimmo4life wow that is some amazing results. i have to look for this!
HollywoodTnA: Can you give us a price on one of those guns? I checked out there site, but
they didnt have any prices?
ricerust: lol. oh ok ok. i do hav a 1.5 so ill try that. thanx, keep up the good work
1982Celestyn: Skwierczy mu ten pistolet jak frytki na oleju:D
itoshikanara: ¿La puerta en la que hicisteis el empalme del color estaba sin matizar o es
Refinish Network: @svt20009 Identical gun just different tips, I don't know that they've been
released yet. My 3m rep just dropped them off for us to demo.
larryelcamino: so that base and clear were shot with the 1.4 demo tip?? cus our rep only
gave us the 1.8 tips. these are really efficient guns!
Refinish Network: no man, way to big.....the biggest id go is 1.5 and it would have to be a
thick clear and still I dunno
pullupurpants: Christopher Allen is an idiot. Its all about proper prepping and sanding..
What a didldo
Tony Camacho: Hello, do you know if the 1.3 and 1.4 are now available for this gun ?
Refinish Network: @jeetkunedoground The guns right now are only available with the 1.8
priming tips, the 1.3 and 1.4 wont be available for a few months yet.
jeetkunedoground: One Question, Imagine its your car, You added the perfect paint, now its
time for the CLEAR! Would you use this gun or, your sata ;)? thanks
DRENE GB: how long should I expect to remove the masking tape must be dried or fresh,
or at what point
Refinish Network: me too buddy, i've run out and been on my 3M rep for more. I cant get em
right now either.
Green Bullitt: Incredible work... awesome
Refinish Network: It contains a lower amount of solvent (paint thinner). In Canada and some
parts of US they adjusted the allowable VOC laws making waterborne paint
the only viable option.
outlaws831: @0000UnDead0000 3M part # 16570 - One spray gun w/ three atomizing head for
Leo Cane: Is this type of paint (water based) strong as the solvent ones?
Refinish Network: @0000UnDead0000 The gun I think is around 70-100 and the tips are around
3-5 bucks a piece. They suggest you change them every 15 sprays but I've
pushed em longer.
mrwtfr: door shuts - over spray/ dry
0000UnDead0000: Thats realy handy, how much do they cost per pack? (Im assuming they come
in a pack of some number) Since im planning to re-spray my car this would
be great for what i have in mind.
joe cauchi: Its like you havent been on for a while.
mark yeomans: awesome job man..i take my hat off to painters ..mine all ends bad bad bad
..but i haven't given up ...when i searched this gun all i can find is
primer guns..any base clear or regular paint guns with throw away tips
available ?? or different tips for this gun to make it for spraying PAINT
Garnett M.: These will fit any HVLP gun
Junior Morales: hey im trying to paint some eddie bauer beige pieces from my expedition to
black when your done sanding do u apply the primer and sand or just apply
the primer and the paint on top of it then clear coat any advice would help
i appreciate it.
Jonathon Deadman: Hey does anyone know if you can buy other sized heads for this gun yet as
it has been over a year since this video and i can not find any online
Refinish Network: @6488ott When i first seen it I thought it would be perfect for diy'ers.
Rather than purchase 3 guns you can just grab this one to handle it all.
Since each tip holds all the material you can keep each one separate for
the material your spraying..ie have one tip for sealer, solid base,
metallics, clear, waterborne,,,etc.. seems perfect for that.
吴 尚金: Really want to learn these techniques
phordguy: Just curious, why waterborne? Is it safer to spray for you? Or is it a
better more long lasting finish, cheaper or just what is available in
Canada? I'm sure the EPA here has something to do with it, but what about
in your area?
elaine campbell: Hi
Refinish Network: sand it flat with some P600 grit paper and respray. Try not to break
through the clear/basecoat layer.
ElitePokerPlayer: Waterbourne paint also lays down a lot better than solvent, but a lot of
paint suppliers who sell specxial trick paint and other wild cxolors are
mostly solvent. Waterbourne to me has a faster drying time and that is one
plus for painting...time
TheeJimboski: Umm....I think the gas filler cover has like 1/4" of paint. That will look
great with the cover closed. Lol
ElitePokerPlayer: at least 3-4 hours, but check the paint on the masking and you will tell if
it is dry yet. If it isn't dry by 5 hours then I would assume not enough
activator was put into the clear(hardener)
svt20009: jimmo is this the SAME 1.8 primer gun? or is it another gun 3m came out
with? because it looks 100% identical to the accuspray primer gun.
XxJhate: your rep actually recommended using this gun?
Refinish Network: @351xp Very busy brother, im a tryin!
