lmcgregoruk: One thing that's annoying about the Logitech Profiler is it maps the Joystick axis/buttons to keyboard buttons for some games that can see the joystick axis/buttons anyway. Like Colin McRae Dirt, if you run it with the Logitech Profiler running, it maps the left analog stick to Keyboard Left/Right keys, making steering DIGITAL, whereas if you DON'T use the Logitech Profiler, you can use Analog steering, and map any buttons you like to any function you like. The only reason to use the Logitech Profiler is for games that dont support joystick functionality, and to map the joystick to the keys for that game. Any game that DOES support a joystick, you're better off NOT using the Logitech Profiler, and by default it starts up when windows boots.
Blinged: Does it work with MW2?
zacharias pap: I dont now.If you now please send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org
SoapBox SoftWare: How do you set mouse functions to the axis?
AncientPadawan: I hate this gamepad for it's square gates, making it bad for anything requiring circural motion.I don't even understand why would they make it a square, I can't see ANY benefit.
rajhni burrell: hey went out and buyed the control 2 days ago and it so far the best pc control i've ever had all i did was install the disc and it works with all my games even online ones but mine as x and y and crap instend od 1 and 2
Timmy ForLife: how do u guys get the logitech profiler
Bizarro91: Yes. It works with any game you can run on your PC. It also works with games that don't use gamepads like flash games.
Dmitry Sus: is it works in fifa 13?
Ange Tanoh: hey does it work in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5?
RippleEffect420: Can you please help me. I have windows 7 and i got the gamepad setup on my comp but i cant play onlive.. When i open onlive it sais "game controller my not be supported", even tho it sais on the box you can use it for onlive.
ILikeSchtuff97: @codblackops211 I've had mine for a few years, and I still use it. I don't even keep it in great shape, I drop it a lot by accident. Everything still works perfectly fine. Either you got a bootlegged one or you messed up the wire.
Blarg: well mine worked for a month and it does not work anymore.
tagraf86: Anyone know of a 3rd party / open source/ alternative profiler program so I can custom map vibration feedback in non-supported game? For instance, when I push the trigger buttons I want the controller to rumble. This seems so simple, yet logitech or anyone else online has posted any info that I can find online... this is my ONLY gripe with this controller...
Thanks in advance!
PcFix411: @hawaiijim Took a look at it online. I like the change to colored buttons with abxy.
hawaiijim: FYI, the Rumblepad 2 has been replaced by the very similar Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510.
stavro: Hi. Nice review, but i have one question.
I am interested if every button (except for start, select, R3, L3...) have that, (i don't know the right word for it, but to put it like this:) it detects amount of pressure applied on button, and you can control the amount of, for example, throttle, braking etc..?
Any suggestions??? PLEASE!!!!!!
I just got the same Rumblepad 2 corded controller, and am trying to use the Logitech Profiler. My computer operates Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit.) I have tried re-dowloading it many times, and have been traveling the internet for around 6 hours put all together over the past two days trying to get the profiler to work, but I just can't do it. The problem is that the profiler wont open. I click it, for a second it looks like it's going to open, but then it doesn't.
