flatlinesup: I (like a lot of others I'm sure), go around watching vids on the YouTube
that get me the info I need and don't often think much about it.
I want to tell you, your channel has helped me more than any other and I
really appreciate it and am letting you know you will be receiving business
from me in the near future strictly because of these videos.
Thank you again.
Brian Keith II: so you dont need a fan clutch tool for this job? I need to replace a fan
clutch on a 2004 envoy, it looks exactly the same as the video

engine temp is ok? Thanks

MultiBigman03: I have a 2003 chevy silverado. My fan is all the time blowing hard. Usually
it only does it when my truck has been idling for a while but it does it
from the time i crank it up to the time i turn it off. Would i need to
change the fan clutch since its constantly running and if so would it be as
simple as this yukon?
1A Auto Parts: If it's making noise you may want to keep an eye on your water temps to see
if it's within it's proper range.
1A Auto Parts: If it have a manual clutch, you may want to take a look at it to see if
it's working correctly.
Mustang Medic: Nice that makes you a MustangMedic : )
1A Auto Parts: If the fan clutch is bad, it would also cause the truck to over heat.
kenman1717: great vid. i'm all for doing stuff yourself, even before i got into the
trade. but i will say if you don't know what your doing, take it to someone
who does. had one towed to me, the guy tried to change the fan clutch
himself, what a mess, he used a torch, sawzall, sledge hammer, he tried to
cut the nut off, so her ruined everything even the water pump shaft with
the treads. had to change everything. and the guy though i was ripping him
off cause i had to do the water pump to.
Mustang Medic: Video Props from MustangMedic! We don't give out many to other vido
1A Auto Parts: Thanks for checking us out. As we make repairs to the vehicles that we
have, we usually create videos that show the repair process.
LDawn24: I had no problem replacing mine.My clutch is in a 2000 Sierra and this

1A Auto Parts: You may want to check the fan motor or the relay to see if one of them is
Manuel Castillo: Do you have a video for a 2003 trailblazer?

1A Auto Parts: Keep an eye on the temp gauge, sometimes why they start to fail they'll get
a little noisy.
David Jackson: thier is a spanner wrench that hold the water pump pully while loosening
but i couldn't find this tool for my chevy tahoe 2002 anywhere i brought
rubber strap its a plumbing tool but in the hardware aile of home depot its
a rubber stratp that loops through and you pull it toward you to lock in
place two man job while the other tap the hammer mine loosen right away
with two hit by the way it was only ten dollars for it
1A Auto Parts: @kenman1717 Yeah I'd agree with that, If you get in to a repair and it gets
over your head then the best thing is to take it to a professional.
Dmax734: very helpful
vannmon51: Mine worked just like the video and only took about as long. I'm sure
seized ones come along and the wrenches would be a big help. My local auto
parts stores have them for rent but fortunately I didn't need one. The
video was a big help.
1A Auto Parts: We do have 2003 Chevy Trailblazer How To repair videos on our channel. We
do no have a video that shows you how to replace the radiator fan clutch
though, on this particular vehicle.
Murphys Luck: How did your clutch not turn with fan?
Jon Bergman: Awesome video. Very informative. Couldn't get the nut loose. And then saw
how you did it with the hammer and crescent wrench. Worked perfectly.
1A Auto Parts: lol...thanks for stopping by guys.
1A Auto Parts: On the water pump you normally want to replace it with the factory gasket.
You really want to avoid using any RTV or sealant around the water pump
wkares: I've got a 1993 Gmc Sonoma sle, 4.3 v6. I had a loud noise coming from
around or under the alternator side of truck. Started small, now it sounds
like the engine is going to explode. In the middle of all of this the fan
was barely turning. At one point the fan was Knocking, but fan quit
knocking after a few minutes. But now the fan barely turns. BUT as a visual
nothing looks wrong anywhere. It has around 85000,00 miles on it. I do not
hot rod it. Any ideas what is wrong?
1A Auto Parts: Thanks for watching. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

hearing a whinning noise coming from the fan clutch is that possible? (i

Ray Lopez: You make it look so easy! Thanks for the videos!! There very helpful and
1A Auto Parts: You may want to try leaving the serpentine belt on while you break the bolt
loose. Then you can take the belt off once it's loose. The belt will keep
tensions on the pulley for you.
Manuel Castillo: Can you make the video? By the way I browsed thru your website and found
the best prices. :) Your prices are 40% less than zone and ileys....
1A Auto Parts: You may want to check the alternator pulley to see if it has froze up, or
perhaps one of the other pulleys may have froze. Hope this helps you out.
