Theresa Roberson: DO the straws work better than making one from cardboard?
Shai Ben-Naphtali: Mate, thanks for sharing! Great video. At the end, when you place the honeycomb on the table, it looks like you placed a glass/plastic over the straws ... what's that? @ 6:55
HeySlowPokes: That is ingenious, thanks for showing us how to do it. . I want to make the same thing but with straws about 2cm in diameter. . My project is to make something to hide from view, an air conditioner vent. I was thinking to get expanded aluminium, which comes compressed and one opens it up oneself; could be hard. . Where could I get some things like 2cm diameter drinking straws type of thing? . Anyone? . Cheers. from, del-boy

nickynunn: thanks mate much appreiciated
cameron pollock: Cheers always good.
Tash McAdams: I would say they were white straws with blue lines mate and I git the Blue Peter joke. Very good.
cameron pollock: thank you, glad it was of some help.
Capt. Fantastard: That's a great idea. Good video mate, nice to see an easy to follow 'how to' video for once.
cameron pollock: Nothing it was in reference to blue peter, almost everything that was made was made with a toilet roll.
John Mitchell: What is the bog roll tube for?
cameron pollock: Yeah for the video i hunted round all my local shops and pubs looking and ended up with the white ones but do state use black. The neoprene sleeve works a treat. Thanks for your comment.
400txuser: To be honest, only black straws will function as an actual grid and have far less spill. White ones will be more like a snooted diffuser I think. The stretchy thing is actually a very good idea! I used a sock to hold the grids in place. I think the stretchy thing is better.
cameron pollock: Glad you liked it.
María del Valle Fabián: La verdad, me mataste, sos un Re genio Muchas Gracias!!! me encantó..Desde Argentina muchos saludos!!! Después te mando las fotos que espero hacer.
